Sure the government is at fault...but isn't the free market part of the problem here? I don't think this issue is so black and white (government bad free market good). Aren't oil companies doing really well right now? Certainly we shouldn't socialize the oil industry, but let it run free? That's almost as scary as you try to make Maxine.
It ain't the free market that's the problem. It's government subsidizing and giving special privilege to certain folks and putting undue restrictions on others. Why do you think it's so hard to start small businesses? IT takes YEARS to start them and only rich people and large corporations have enough money to push through all the restrictions to get their businesses or products out on the market.
