This movie is shit. The only good thing is the special effects. It's also too American. Love Triangle? And why did it have to show them getting back at the Japs? However they did not participate in the Doolittle Raid at all. I believe you're talking about the original script Randall Wallace had made, which was much more accurate. Michael Bay commanded rewrites and totally changed up the script to a shitty inaccurate story filled with pointless romance and over done special effects

It's an insult to the memory of the men who were part of the Doolittle raid who did the stuff that "Rafe" and "Danny" did. And also there were many small inaccurate facts throughout the whole movie

@MakeupByMurMur George Welch and Kenneth Taylor were the inspirations for Rafe and Danny. They were the two pilots who got off the ground and fought back. However they did not participate in the Doolittle Raid at all. I believe you're talking about the original script Randall Wallace had made, which was much more accurate. Michael Bay commanded rewrites and totally changed up the script to a shitty inaccurate story filled with pointless romance and over done special effects

@RadioAshFM still,remember,Danny died. I think this movie really had to have that history. Most of us weren't at Pearlh Harbor, we didn't witness all those horrors and we didn't lose someone the way they did. We didn't experience the glorious feeling of being heroes like that or watching your best friend kill himself to save your life. I think that whole thing is connected to the tragedy of Pearl Harbor and that it wouldn't be the same without those three.
