  • a very smart guy, Michael pitt.

  • This film is so amazing, but the charcters aren't acted very vell. No wonder, if the actors don't understand the film and aren't able to express that.

  • he's fuckin hot, a such a amazin actor and a orgasmic singer.

  • He is scary as a person. I bet he would really do that in life. they should pay close attention to him, always.

  • Putos periodistas

  • heh well atleast he didnt answer the question like power hungry hillary clinton wouldve... she would answered it by yelling "im the actor not him wha wha"

  • what does breaking the fourth wall means?? please

  • @sdashiel addressing the audience/ viewer

  • @sdashiel talking into the camera :)

  • @sdashiel

speaking directly to the viewer - making contact with the audience - changing the film from fiction to relaity.

  • @sdashiel in acting when a character suddenly addresses him/herself to an audience, i.e by talking directly to the audience or involves the audience, the fourth wall has been broken, for instance in the Animated series of Batman, Joker constantly breaks the 4th wall and talks directly to the camera i.e the audience

  • Who's a fan of "Boardwalk Empire"? Now, who's excited for the second season?

  • Omg this interviewer is a DICK! Well done Michael Pitt for staying calm and being a pro about it ;)

  • Wow this guy is an idiot. How can you be in a movie and not think deeply about any of it's aspects? I'm sure fans on forums could add more insight than this clown.

  • Great acting, too bad the movie was boring beyond belief. No wonder it bombed.

  • I still don't like him for a real life.....he used his real character in that stupid movie!!

  • haha. "mmm whats the question?"

  • he's so fucking beautiful

  • z not even these actors had an idea of the vid game idea..loL kinda weird michael didn't know much about the movie..

  • that kid looks like Bam Margera

  • @search4ugr You mean Brady Corbet looks like Bam Margera or Michael Pitt? Haha

  • @brittanynicolefield1 The other one, looks like Macaulay Culkin.

  • @search4ugr LOL!! Culkin? Haha! For some reason I am really laughing.

  • @brittanynicolefield1 i'm glad i maid u laugh

  • remember him from dawson's creek? <3

  • @hilarious441 murder by numbers, 4 me

  • @hilarious441 he was in dawson's creek? What?

  • @ImAFanHPBaby yes! i was out of my mind when i made the connection. he play's jen's boyfriend henry

  • Que poca onda que le ponen a la entrevista estos tipos!

  • why are they asking these questions?? ask them about their characters, their experiences filming, how they relate to their characters, how they prepared for their roles; not why the director chose to break the 4th wall in his movie.

  • I like Michael Pitt as an artist. He is one of those cats that seems to make his choices with art as his first consideration - not box office cash. It's nice when that works out for a person as talented as he. On the other hand, he's not that great of an interview. I think for such an introspective person (his co-star seems that way too), being asked to talk about themselves must be uncomfortable.

  • nooob interviever

  • Michael Pitt's performance in this film is so underrated and overlooked.

  • cool dude

  • @EddyUdatos

I don't know, I don't think so. I think he's a great actor and I know Haneke does too, and he's one of the most talented instructors living. Besides that Pitt have pitt always wanted to become an actor, like he moved to new york to become so when he was 16...

  • this movie is the most intimidating thing i've ever seen. i felt sick and uncomfortable watching funny games, and brady's calm voice in this interview brings back the feeling. he truly scares the shit out of me.

  • Brady Corbet matured nicely. I remember in Thirteen, his voice annoyed the hell out of me lol.

  • He will never become a great actor, NEVER! He does it only for money..

  • @EddyUdatos I don't think he does it just for the money. Go up to five people on the street and ask them who Michael Pitt is. I bet that four will have no idea, and MAYBE one will figure out who he is if you name off some of his films. I'm not saying that the guy is destitute, but he's not raking in the cash of the bigger Hollywood names. He must enjoy the acting process to a certain extent if he was willing to put up with this jerkoff asking stupid questions.

  • @EddyUdatos

I don't know, I don't think so. I think he's a great actor and I know Haneke does too, and he's one of the most talented instructors living. Besides that Pitt have pitt always wanted to become an actor, like he moved to new york to become so when he was 16...

  • What a vain person -_-'

Actors should learn as much as directors

  • Bad interview.

Actors are just tools used to convey the Director's message. Why would they know why the Director made the movie a certain way or told the actors do act a certain way.

A pencil doesn't know why the writer wrote a story...

  • @ubanare well with bad actors ......sure your right......but if you asked robert deniro these questions hed tell you frame by frame what the story and subtext was about.

  • possibly the best looking man on earth (michael pitt i mean) though i wouldnt kick brady out of bed :P

fuck it, ill have both :)

funny games is so brilliant beyond hollywood bullshit :)

  • bready corbett, and micheal pit play my fav parts of the film.

  • ugh. still waiting for satisfaction to set in.

  • The 4th wall is broken in Funny Games...because the film is about you.

    simple really.

  • cmon, the're just actors, don't have to be smart - "ask the director" is they're favouurite statement - don't they have anything else to say?

  • talkdrunklookhot.

don't know if that makes sense.

    but it's cool.

  • what is the forth wall

  • Looking at the camera... talking to the camera. That stuff.

  • These guys probably did like 6 interviews that day, spent 5 hours on a plane the day before, and attended premiere parties the night before. It's not as easy to be an actor as it looks. Interviews are most often a chore. Then you've got this goof interviewing them, I'm not surprised they aren't feeling it.

  • great responses to poor questions.

  • AGREE

  • one of the worst interviewers ive ever listened to

  • It but there is something I think is awesome about killers/psyocs in movies

  • They seem bored out of their minds with these questions and I dont blame them

  • They look Drunk !

  • theyy look scary in real life aswell =o

  • This journalist is awful. Pitt is polite, but he just legitimately doesn't know how to answer.

  • Yeah I agree they don't interview well, but I mean come on, their job is to act, which I think they're amazing at. I mean, i hated them in the movie, but thats the point of it. If they're kinda shitty at interviews, that doesn't matter very much.

  • can this guy formulate his own opinion instead of pointing at the director? hes just as annoying in real life as his character.

  • La peor pelicula que he visto en mi vida! demasiado lenta y muy mala...

  • this is a dream come true michael and brady together =D

  • god these are stupid questions

  • This film was amazing.

I'm literally in love with Michael Pitt now, lmao. :']

  • Brady and Michael have still that psychotic look in their eyes LOL :-)

  • i think brady is smarter to answer

and Michael wa smore like,, why are asking me ??

AHHAA and the interviewer so lame, and his questions so pontless even Michael said,, "humm what's the question"

  • I never got that sense of satisfaction Corbet talked about. I wanted those characters tortured to death more than any other characters I have ever seen in a movie. The satisfaction never came. I hope they can get seriously fucked up in a sequel.

The actors' answers to every question seemed to be, "Uh, why are you asking ME that?"

  • What a shit interview, those questions shouldn't have been directed at them.

    They looked less than thrilled.

  • i agree i mean wtf they went back in time so dumb.

  • Yea, those questions were pointless bc he's NOT the director lol

  • Corbet did better on this interview than Pitt, especially when you mind it's true that these actually are questions for a director and not for actors.

  • michael pitt is so Hot untill its just crazy.

  • this interviewer is pretty bad. "why do you think the movie is effective?" what a pointless question. ask the audience or the critics that shit. the people involved in making the film are probably the last people that should be responding to questions that deal with subjective interpretations of a movie's quality.

  • Hahah "...what's the question?"

  • the interview had more frightening moments and tension than the actual movie XDDD

  • Those questions were terrible. They are the kind of questions you ask a director or writer, not the actors.

  • I was thinking the same exact thing. He even asks questions mentioning that he wants to know what the director was thinking.

    :/

    He handled it well though.

  • 'why do u think that the film is intense?'....:) that's a question?

  • i feel sorry for michael pitt, these questions were for michael haneke xD

  • Michael Pitt must have his own impressions about the damn film that he made. He doesn't have to be the director to have some opinions about this project that he obvious accept to do because he liked. He's just beign a prick.

  • @timurgrungy You know, I agree, but he did his best lol.

  • Michael answered honestly. This guy was asking very esoteric and technical questions he should have asked the director.

  • Michael Pitt is beautiful and an amazing actor and I can't blame him for not being answering the questions but everytime I've seen him in interviews, he looks like he's been drinking or doing drugs. He better straighten up or he'll lose his looks and career fast.

  • whatthefuzz:

that is why it's called a MOVIE. and no, you can't say only black people would defend themselves. it's the person, not the race you dumbass. anyone who is put in that situation might let panic take over, and they aren't so brave.

get a fucking clue. your comment was a complete joke.

  • That's funny because as I watched the events unfold in this movie I found myself saying, "let them try that shit in the hood." I think the idea was that they were complacent rich people not necessarily white people, although that was my first reaction (as a white person).

  • I was thinking the same thing. You know the people in the hood got working phones and multiple guns and knifes. Plus they are cynical of anybody they don't know.

  • they're both really brilliant actors, don't get me wrong, but they are SO weird!

and do they not know anything about the movie they just starred in!?

they should be able to answer these questions! you cannot call the interviewer a moron when both of them are actually in the movie!

"yeah well i think you need to ask the director"

what a load of crap, they know what to say they just don't give a shit

  • the questions the interviewer ask are impossible to give a straight and "correct" answer to. the only one who knows the reasons for breaking the 4th wall ect. is the director, the mind behind it all!. the interviewer want's michael pitt to analyse and interpret the movie, which is very hard to do objectively.

  • Are you serious?

Those were all questions that had to do with perspective and as much as you agree with someone on something you'll never be able to see it through their eyes. So, just because they were in the movie and being directed doesn't mean they necessarily understood why everything happened specifically the way it did.

  • "Hmm... whats the question?".. I love it when he says that at 2:08

  • brady corbet is sexxyy.

    :]

  • I love his voice

  • These guys looks really bored...and creepy.

  • te amo michael pitt

  • i LOVE michael pitt, by why does he look completely botoxed up in this? and drugged up...

  • Such boring technical questions.

  • I think they're bored because the interviewer is asking a bunch of questions that aren't exactly appropriate for them to answer. As actors they are told what to do by the director and are sometimes aren't really told why they do everything. But they are doing their best in answering. But yeah, they did an amazing job with this film.

  • i love them both

  • I agree cookie mab He is a gorgeous freak They dont get any better

  • Those are half-ass answers if I ever heard one.

I guess they were really bored at the interview.

  • the movie is bloody awesome, but they look really borin' with the questions...

  • o and uh wats the fourth wall :S ... im a little slow n stupid =) thanx xoxo

  • the fourth wall, or breaking it, is when someone talks directly to the camera, as if they were talking to u.

  • The fourth wall is the wall up between the audience and the actors. When the actors interact with the audience they are breaking the fourth wall. :)

  • ok ok michael and brady are hot yeas i knw i have two eyes ... so y does hardly anyone SEEE that their gr8 actors (jus luk at all the comments .. so fitt ...blah blah blah )

btw corbet and pitt - AMAZING fukin ACTORS

  • I agree, sure they're both good looking, I ain't disagreeing with that, but they're also amazing actors. Just looks wouldn't have made this movie good, but their acting ability is very important as well. And I think, that Michael Pitt is the best actor in the world, so for me, it's waaay more than just looks.

  • they both look so bored of this interview. they're so amazing :)

  • hes soo hottt omfg.. i wanna eat him up

  • Why was he such a dark, ass in this movie? :O , what a turn off...he's really torturing that poor journalist :(

  • che cagacazzo sto micheal pitt... potrebbe anche tirarsela di meno dato che a recitare fa schifo!!!!!

  • That was the awesomest movie I've seen in a long time.

  • exactly, I loved it

  • I know he's really into coke too which is cool

    cause he's a hottie..

    -donowho

  • Again. Nobody gives a fuck.

  • Mike Pitt is so hot. I want to f*ck him.

  • Hmm, why not
