probably best to go with what Slash uses: Ernie Ball .11-.42. I've recently switched to them from Rotosound's strings, and I reckon it was a choice well made.

Thank you for your comment. But I forgot how long did it take because I've been playing the guitar and GNR's songs for over 10 years.

In my opinion, the hardest part in this song is main riff. It seems to easy for your finger but to keep the rhythm throughout the whole song is not so easy actually. That's the point of this song.

ive been learning this song recently aswell and i find the main riff really hard for exactly the same reason u just stated the solo just take a bit of practise and u can just nail after a while and the outro is such fun to improvise over

that was the best cover ive seen of this song. and on your slash les paul it has 2 knobs slightly different color then the other 2 knobs. Mine is not like that, i dont know why but i see some with it and some without out but i see slash has the same thing as you. Do u kno why?
