Now i know the quality and choice of the recordings in this book without even having to buy it.

Such books and lists are a waste of time...taste in art.music in totally subjective

I read the book. I didn't like the entry on Berg's Wozzeck (an opera that I like), because from the way it was written, he obviously really didn't like it, yet he recommended it anyway.

Well, it's kind of hard to look something up called, "Things To Do During Your Lifetime." Before you die is kind of an an easily recognizable/taggable thing. 'Specially on YouTube. I'm not disagreeing, just... not agreeing. xP
