This is art movie, but the chopper and pilot are natural, espetially pilot. At that time (90th) this pilot only could fly and shoot simultaniously on KA-50. This is real test-pilot of Kamov bureau. Most explosions in movie are not real - fireworks, but at 2:59 the BTR have been hitted by 30mm canon from chopper.

1.(1:57)It's no sniper fire system,but a single 30mm cannon AT round(cuz non-explosive) he fired using aiming sights which are a standard for helicopters today.

2.(4:24)Unguided HE missiles, accompanied by HE 30mm cannon fire. HE rounds cause characteristic smoke, which isn't present when using AT rounds.

3.(7:10)It's not a super f*ing gun, but a 30mm cannon firing AT rounds, which make the HIND's engine burst into flames

Well, the reverse is true for the Ka-52 Hokum-B. ;)

You should however note that neither helicopter would actually be tasked with attacking other helicopters. The thing coming for the AH-64D wouldn't be a Ka-50/52, it would be a MiG-29 or Su-27, and the AH-64D would be in deep trouble then. (Just like the Ka-50/52's would be when the F-15's are called in.)

You don't compare helicopters on how good they are at killing each other. You compare their ability to get the job done. ;)

The only case I would see where an Su-25 would be specifically tasked with hunting down and killing helicopters would be if the country operating the 25 do not have dedicated fighter aircraft. (Georgia as an example.)

The 25 is atrociously bad at detecting aircraft (no radar, no IRST), whereas a 27 or 29 with an R-27ET would be able to kill the chopper from 20-30km away without even lighting up the radar. (IRST detection.)
