Tomb Raider: Underworld, Xbox 360 vs Wii (Croft Manor)

Look at what I know, the X360 can handle for about 4 hours, until it overheats. I plan to buy one, and after that I surely would give a break until it cools.

i was so disappointend after playing this, i have the ps2 version which is similar to wii graphics, i have to say that it's the shortest and easiest one of all times, i watched the whole walkthrough of ps3 version and it wasn't much longer, it's the cutscenes that make the game look a bit longer

I have this on 360, though I have not played it on Wii, it looks difficult to control...but that's just what I think from this. I mean like, you have to move that circle thing up and down and with 360, you just gotta move the Left Stick. Also, I prefer Legend to Underworld, dunno why? =)

The graphic on Wii aren't the best, but it is a good solid game that IS NOT ACTUALLY THAT SHORT! And the brightness and contrast can be edited.

that is one main reason i wouldn't not classify xbox as next gen. a next gen wouldn't break all the time. if they fixed the console up and it was bullet proof maybe i would buy it again.but atm i'm im doing fine with ma wii hopefully ill be getting a ps3 can anybody tell me if this has the same problem as xbox as breaking down all the time i really don't want another console like that ! would be of great help

@MrLinoshi If your 360 broke down constantly, then obviously you were letting it overheat or doing something wrong. I've had mine for over two years and I've had NO problems with it. As for your question about the PS3, it doesn't break down as often as the 360.

actually most of my friends have sent theirs back for repairs. so im NOT doing anything wrong and tbh XD why should i have to keep worrying about it overheating XD why can't they design it without problems in the first place, cause i shouldn't have to keep checking on it .i should be able to enjoy playing it rather than nursing the god dam thing :P

@MrLinoshi Well, I bought a fan for the back of my 360, so I don't have to worry about it overheating. I agree that they should've fixed the problems beforehand so you don't have to buy extra accessories, but I don't mind. My 360 is my baby.

I prefer Xbox, and I have a HD television so it's easier to see the graphics. Games for game consoles are sometimes too dark or too dark, so you just change the lighting on the TV. My friend has Tomb Raider Underworld on the Wii and I've played it and honestly, I don't really like it.

I got this game for the Wii this Christmas, and I enjoyed Lara's underworld adventure immensely. The graphics as well as the motion sensor controls and puzzles were splendid. However, some of the changes to the Wii version seem paradoxical; why give us unlimited ammunition and fully regenerating health if you are going to give us fewers enemies to fight?

ok i have the wii version nad its fun and i love tomb raider but i would have to say that on the PS3 the experience would have been better, but im not saying that the wii version sucks or anything, its just some of the levels have been more simplified for the wii and its not as much of a great experience into the game's story and stuff, thats just my opinion, but the wii still kicks ass, but i wouldnt say it "owns" lol but its a hell of a lot of fun :D

you know i really think that developers have pushed the wii to its limits in this game it looks amazing on the wii! considering most games on the wii are not that great graphics, but yes it does ruin it a bit RONAZIDANE but the nunchuck and motion sensoring in wii games makes me all the more happy, and i still have my computer to satisfy my online needs and graphical games. since i sold my 360 because it always broke down!

You can see on the comparison videos of the 360 and Wii Versions there is not much difference between em.

There is no better graphics here, only the 360 has more light mapping and shadows than the Wii. And not because Wii is underpowered, just look at Twilight Princess. They could had pulled the same effects on the Wii, but developers this days are waaaaay too lazy to actually work it.

Shame, yes, still, Wii version is quite good, but i'm getting the PS3 one, xDDDD

ahh yes lol, thankyou, and i have one for question :D lol, do you know in the mexico level where theres that pole you have to pick up and shove it into a crack in one of the pillers so you can climb up the pole and then up to a ledge, Im just wondering if on the wii version if lara can do that thing where she carwheels over the pole when its on the ground and picks it up, cause i tried and she wont she just stops and picks it up, lol but i did figure out how to hit enemy's with it :D

Well the 360 can display darker and lighter colors, and thats one of the new technologies they are implimenting inot the HD version of the game. Im getting the Wii version, auto-aim ftl. Besides, Anniversary was fun enough, i really liked it.

you wont have a choice between next gen and current gen, like with TRL,

Well, Wii and Xbox 360 are quite different, PS3/360 is able to store more objects in memory, Wii and PS2 does not.
