Oh my word this battle was about as epic as can be. This entire series is an absolute must-play for any D&D fan, or any RPG fan. It's beyond the scope of a YouTube comment to adequately represent the full extent of the awesome if this series. Whilst Icewind Dale isn't as focused on story and scope, it's also an excellent series, and a worthy companion to the BG and BG2.

I may use a Kuja portrait in my next Mage save, I'll have to give him purple/pink hair :3 I just used Squall because he's got a more serious look in his Dissidia art, and with the brown hair and scar I thought it looked good, granted it's a totally different art style from BG2 but still.

P.S. IX is probably my favourite FF, X and IX have the top spots for me, it's hard to pick a favourite though...

@Tiars666tiamat I didn't really, infact I don't watch his stuff at all, I just.. haven't bothered, but I'm sure he'd have a hard time changing my mind, I loved X, didn't play X-2 and I grew to like VIII ALOT more than I initially did after getting used to the whole battle system. I also like VII alot, that's one of my favorites too, goes without saying.

I have IV and V for the PS1, I was just going to start playing IV recently, think I'll get started properly soon.

@LokizarroX To each his own ;) I believe you will really like Final Fantasy IV. It's class based, like Final Fantasy IX, and has a really amazing story for it's time and hell even today.

If you can, play the GBA version of IV-VI. No loading times and many extras included.

@LokizarroX Final Fantasy I-VI with the exception of III have enhanced GBA ports. If you can find them, buy all of them, they are worth it. FFIII and IV have DS remakes and some have PSP remakes. Check Wikipedia for detailed info.

In my game, Greater Restoration just restores one character completly, but it looks like in your game, it works in your entire party.. Any explanation? o.o

@Leetunen Sorry for a late reply, but I'm afraid I can't tell you why, for me "greater restoration" has always healed the entire party, and it's the perfect substitute for the lack of resting when fighting Amelyssan, and it's certainly the quickest method of healing, are you sure you're definitely using "Greater" Restoration?

@hurisija Thanks, other people were unhappy at the fact that I used Squall for my lead character's picture, but I am a FF fan, although BG2 is still my favourite game of all time

If you want to take down dragons effectively, send in a protected mage first, buff him up as much as you can, stoneskin, mirror image, globe of invulnerability, whatever you have. Then, use spells to take down the dragon's defenses, it's always best to spread everyone out, check out my other video, the Pontifex one ;)

@LokizarroX problem is that Draconis continues casting invisblity and then disruipts Oracle or Invisiblity purge and kills everybody :(

@hurisija Keep the person purging his invisibility away, I never found Draconis too bad to be honest, most people say he's the hardest.. in the Pontifex video I also have improved dragons installed which gives him better AI and unlimited casting of spells, he's way harder than Draconis, but the strategy I used is the best, somewhat cheap but very effective. Have "remove fear" cast on your party beforehand as well and haste everyone, send one buffed up mage in first like I said.

@LokizarroX Did Chaotic Commands give immunity to fear? anyways everytime viccy starts casting invisiblity purge Draconis gets mad and knocks her off or casts another invisiblity ARRR

@hurisija You don't need to use an invisibility breaching spell near your opponent, it has a streaming effect that lasts for a while, it activates every few seconds when the cleric is near the enemy, so cast it away first, then run NEAR but use someone else to distract him, his invisibility will go down.

I don't think Chaotic Commands gave immunity to fear, but I highly recommend using the standard "remove fear" spell before any fight just in case, it works similarly to haste, it's awesome.

@hurisija (Continued) if you do that, he'll focus only on the mage, send in the fighters and surround him, when his attention goes to someone else, spread everyone out again, it's best to breach all his defences first with a mage and a cleric using "True Sight" or something similar, and then tear him to shreds with your fighters as quickly as possible.

@jbecker8082 I've had Imoen in my final party in the past, I've beaten this game many times.. but I honestly don't need her at this point in this save game anyway, I love Imoen, she's a great character but my main character (The Sorcerer obviously) can do everything she does better, with the exception of pickpocketing and using some weapons.

@christhediablomaster Honestly, Baldur's Gate 2 should run on ANY PC you have, I max it all out as you see in the video and it looks fantastic, you shouldn't have a problem.
