  • so that you don't get burned and flame goes a little sideways if jet is put sideways.

  • @guruji243

I like flame strait up as I guess in all stoves in the world. I don't think that flame little sideways will increase safety.

  • Very good idea but maybe jet should be sideways for more safety.

  • @guruji243. How do you see it and how it will increase safety?

  • pretty cool, but fuck thats scary

  • You are the best to serve as multi-fuel and heat adjustment! This burner is the best!

  • Thanks of course, but this is not my invention. There is on market similar "Borde benzin (gasoline) burner", I just tried to adapt this idea to my burner. And problem is that it is not so ease to find needed tools. And adjustment screw nut has to be welded to pipe or somehow else fixed, which is complicated without welding equipment. But maybe sometime I will find out how to do that at home.

  • Even welding seems to be difficult. Borde Burner is terrible! Though I thought that I did not become the reference, in "PAKURICON", there was an own work of Borde. I pray for success!!!

  • how about rather than throttling the jet have a small pressure bleed?

  • It has to be tested. I think that it may work for single fuel stove but not for multiple. Jet size for white gas burner is much smaller than for alcohol burner. And vapour has to be lead out far enough from jet, otherwise flame will catch it. And additionally it may cause a loses of fuel, but these are only my thoughts.

    Thanks for advice.

  • Excellent. You have been working hard on that, I can tell.

One of those lock washers that has a lot of "fins" might make a good star wheel, and is inexpensive.

    Good Job!

    Bill

  • I misspell it { Borde Bomb ]

  • Put a star wheel on the screw like th borda Do the tube have wicks. Nice for a first try

  • Yes tubes have wicks. I was thinking about star wheel, but without knowing whether it works or not, didn't want to do that. This was only test. The screw nut is fixed to coil pipe also temperarily by epoxy clue(liquid metal).
