I think they are all correct. The guy is stating his opinion, and is being objective, in that a crime is a crime, and should not involve race, if racism is not involved.

However, the woman is stating her opinion on why she was upset, and additionally stated that she would be interested to see the comparison in punishment in this specific incident compared to the Jena 6 incident.
