This was the song I'd listen to, to inspire me to tell the girl I fancied then how I felt about her, problem was I never had the courage when it came down to it, and all I have now is regret of what might have been. To quote some of my own lyrics to a song I wrote about her, "You've got to get up, and get a move on, enjoy life while you can; A second wasted is a second gone, cos time don't wait, for any man". Bryan writes and has the best songs about the human condition and all that it entails !

19 years old summer of '83 when this gem came out. Bryan Adams music is SOOO synonymous with my youth. So much more time behind me than there is ahead of me but music just like this remind me that I had it rather well in the awesome decade we all call the 1980's. Hard to think this came out 29 years ago. Thanks for sharin him Canada.
