You are correct on both accounts. This Starship, obviously isn't the misappropriated and abandoned NC-35 that can be found in Tampico. This aircraft is NC-33.
Unfortunately it was misappropriated shortly before Sept 11, 2001. There was no export paperwork or import paperwork, and as such, the Mexican government seized it. They did nothing to protect the aircraft, and 8 plus years of sitting out in the Carib. sun and weather (not to mention a few hurricanes and trop. storms) have definitely taken their toll on this aircraft -- very sad!
I could reply to that, but it is pure speculation and heresay -- nothing could be proven. As such, if I say it than I could be held for defamation/libel, and I don't want that. Bottom line -- let your imagination run for a bit.
@atlantisaviation you can say anything that you want...the Mex-cans are too stupid to do anything about it. They seize an airplane and dont protect it and the airplane goes to Hell without the hand basket. One can sum it up very easily...STUPID ASS MEXICANS. Now sue me...you bunch of "WETS".
Well, there are so few that most every owner fields phone calls and/or emails from interested parties at any given time. So, when it comes time to sell, we just start going through our rolodex as opposed to spending money in advertising/marketing.
Why is this not in Beechcraft's website product list?
