@willmurphy1951 hopefully u were not on here just to "troll", but will take these points and my testimony into Consideration. God has hwlped me through my pain indescribably, and Ilove Him for it.
May you be blessed.
Sorry about the typos. I can spell, but I am horrible at typing and have alot of distraction from my toddler and daughter right now.
@willmurphy1951 does love you and will never leave you. That's why He sent His son to die on the the cross for a debt that was not his own. Because He loved us so much that He could not bear to be apart from his children. So He made a way for us to be reconciled to Him so that we can spend eternal life with Him after this life. I am not trying to push anything on you. But you did ask a question on a public forum. So I am ansewring from what I know for myself to the best of my ability, and
@willmurphy1951 As true Christians, who follow Christ we must stand on an absolute or else we would be a humanist and not a Christian. We live in a fallen world where there is pain. Even Jesus said himself.." in this world you will have many tribulations, But I will be with you until the end..." So He never promised a painfree life. But He did promise to be there with us and hep us get through it if we let him. I am sorry for your loss. It must be heartwrenching. But God does
@willmurphy1951 it or not, Jesus is the messiah. You may accuse me of being narrowminded. But in your former comment you chastised another person for not making an absolute stand on Jesus? So that is a contradictive argument? Are we dammed if we do and dammed if we dont? So I am just going off of what the Bible of the God we believe in says - "Wide is the gates that leads to destruction, and many choose to go by it, but Narrow is the gate the leads to life and rightousness..." (in Matthew)
@willmurphy1951 And Jesus met all of those traits. Also, the Bible is the most accurate history book of all time. Cities, leaders, Kings, approximate dates, major events, of the past have been confirmed to have exsited as it says. And the dead sea scrolls are the oldest religious documents. There is alot of evidence if one can study with an open mind and heart. But we will never know all the answers, being imperfect, and the fact that we are not God. So whether you choose to believe it
@willmurphy1951 did that mean that the atom did not exsist before the microscope came? Of course not. The wind canonly be felt and known by watching the air move the trees. The naked eye can't "see" it's mass, or grasp it in our hand, but we know it exsist. This same concept apllies to God. And if you do some research, there are lots of scientific proof also that confirm "Intelligent Design" out there as well as hundreds of Prohesies in the old testament that were foretold about the Messiah
@willmurphy1951 that their short livs serve a purpose and they mattered, and they are valued and being loved by God in Heaven. And if you try to look beyond the pain and let the "whys" be put to rest, then you will see and hear God speaking to you, if you open your heart to Him. JUst because u can't ohysicall see it does not mean it is non-exsistent. Look at the atom. Until a microscope came along we did know the atom exsisted because the naked eye could not see it w/out help. But did
@willmurphy1951 And God does want people to do wrong and to murder each other(I.E.) relgious wars. etc). He does not approve of that, but he gives us free will. But u better believe there r consequences for those choics. If not here, ther are in hell. Because He is just and will serve justice to sin if a person does not accept the gift of salvation - which is Jesus that Jesus paid our debt of sin for us. I don't know why your son had to die, and why my loved ones did either. But I do know
@willmurphy1951 force them to obey us and love us right? Of course not. As parents we would never do that because we love our children so much. We would be patient with them, and teach right from wrong, correcting them. ANd we would'nt force their love because true love always operates out of freewill. Thus God is the same wy.. He gives us freewill to obey or not, to believe or not, to love him or not, to do wrong or not. So how can we say it is His fault for bad things happening?
@willmurphy1951 wants to kill, steal and destroy, but GOd always make something good come out of it. Sure He could zap Satan and every human who sins out of existence if He wanted to and there would have never been sin committed..or he could have zapped us and "made" us worship Him, like robots. But God is a God of love and to zap away or force is not love. We woul'nt zap our kids out of exsistence every time they disobey right? And we certainly would'nt take control over their brain and
@willmurphy1951 I am a Christian and was still asking " where is God?" and why did this happen? But I can tell you God was right there next to me. Sometimes the pain is so strong that all we see is the pain and we can't open our eyes to see or hear God. And i believe that you being a non- christian on a christian video, is not a coincidence. Maybe God is drawing you to Him. I still miss my parents and baby, but now I can see some good things that came out of it. There is an enemy that
@willmurphy1951 I am sorry for your loss. I have had alot of loss too. In 2005-2006 my life was full of sorrow. In that period I had fractured hips from a person who ran a red light and could not walk without help for 8 months. Then my dad died when I was two months pregnant and then I lost that baby at 5 months along and delivered her tiny fully developed stillborn body. The cord got in a tight knot in the womb. Then in SEpt. 2006 when I was pregnant again, my mom died.
No sensible and acceptable answer yet.I know Muslims believe in Jesusand its in the Koran,as a man who was a Great Prophet, At least they acknowledge Jesus' existence and influence. You Jesus Freaks dont acknowledge the former existence of Allah, Peace be upon him. Its either your way or no way. Thats why we've had so many conflicts and wars on this Planet of MINE, from the Crusades through Henry VIII and his desire to copulate.
Men of the cloth? Tell that to the defiled choir boys.
@willmurphy1951 so you...a non-Christian...knowingly commented 2 days in a row on a Christian video by a Christian group questioning the religion of which you've had no part in and have not studied deeply.........somebody's looking for attention :P
@willmurphy1951 I am sorry for your intense pain. I lost my best friend and sistre to cancer in 2007 and I am not the same. What it did do for me was show me how precious life is and to love people without pride. Whenever I can which is daily, is I try to make people smile. I try to do things to make them smile, or to help them.
@willmurphy1951 I am a born again Christian and I truly don't care who is right or wrong. I believe your God is my God and your God is my God. We all may get to God in a different way, but God knows our heart. I am not going to hold what other people have done in the name of their God against people
How can I trust when 'HE' decided it was time for my Wife to follow o nfrom ouyr loved one when he was aged 50? Peter Pan, Wendy, and Cloud Cuckoo Land is where you're at, just wanting to believe but absolutely none whatsoever proof in your Phrophet, or is that reserved for when you die? Faith. Have yiu seen, met or been ikntroduced to your 'God?' Religion is responsible through conflicting beliefs for more Deaths on this Planet than any other cause. Here endeth the Reality Lecture!
