Not sure about the whole story, Sammy Loves Fresno, some of his Live album from the 70's was recorded there, I was told that after it opened that the Guy started playing a Hip Hop Venue there, if that is true, that' would be a good reason for Sammy to leave.
I don't know all the details, as a matter of fact, I only learned of this from your video. However, I do know Sammy Hagar is a business man, if the money was not there, then he would pull out. Maybe Fresno is not a large enough population base to support, Krispy Kreme, Staples, etc.
the guy has a point. youd think sammy would at least support his own home state first and foremost. fresno isnt far from his birthplace of monterrey and his residence of marin county.
I posted before I watched the whole Vid. Downtown Fresno is DEAD! If you want to revive downtown, sell the Indians the Fulton Mall and have casinos. I don't even gamble, but it would work.
Granite Park will fail. We went Tuesday night to see my buddies band, service was slow with NOBODY there, the food sucked. The only good thing is the stage and sound system. What do you think about the name "The Light House" for a new name?
dude this guys is freakin awesome. cabo had some of the best people that it could have had running that place. alex costa is by far one of the best bartenders in cali abd a very smart guy. milt barbis is a fuckin dummy. he doesn't know how to do anything. that whole granite park area is in a ton more trouble that anyone knows. i work at the public house aan know about whats really going on. if anyone wants to know let me know and i'll post more.

I worked there 22 years ago ...It was a shithole back then and when i saw Def Leppard play at the ballpark 5 years ago it was still a shithole...
I will never visit again ..... The only reason Fresno has a AAA team is because the Diamondbacks took over in Phoenix !!!! PERIOD
