Herman Cain Won't Hire Me

as a black man I would be very interested to hear your reasoning for believing the Muslim faith represents identity for black people. To be honest, I see little difference between adopting the supposed slave master tradition as opposed to adopting the tradition of a group of people whom were the first group to my knowledge to make incursions into Africa . I fail to believe the nature tradition for black people can be traced back to Islam.

@sdashboy911 I will give a short reply. The Arab is a creation of the African. Their language is part of the Afro-Asiatic language family. The first Muslims would have been killed by Arabs if not for a wise and fair Ethiopian King that protected the Muslims from the Arabs. One of the most beloved Arabs is a mixed raced African named Antar. I recognize the evil committed by the Arabs towards Africans, but I view it as the lost son attacking his mother. I love how you are fine with basically calling him an uncle tom, a creation of the slave system, a sell out, yet you want him to be sensitive to your feelings, lol, and how exactly is he abandoning his identity of being 'black' by disliking 'Islamic interpretations' of things like laws and rights? @dh234ful Friend, I don't want him to be sensitive to my feelings. I assure you I do not care at all what Herman Cain thinks about me. I attempted to make 2 larger points. First, anyone that is talking about a fear of sharia law in America is either simple minded or an irrational enemy of Islam. My second is that Herman Cain comes from a long line of African people (starting with those that sold African prisoners to Europeans and Arabs) that monkey white thought and become popular as a result.

African Americans had years of slavery,racism,segregation....­soo why would you want to make others feel that way too? @abdullahthebutcher The Africans that sold their brothers and sisters into slavery thought they were selling them to become indentured servents. An indentured servent is someone who works for someone or a family for 7 years while getting treated with respect. They would get food, a place to sleep. etc. Indentured servents were not treated the way the Europeans treated their slaves. European slavery is very unique because no one has EVER treated a servent/slave like that.

@babyballoongirl I agree that European slavery was unique in it total refusal to recognize the enslaved person as a human being (different from Arab or African slavery -- many examples of enslaved people rising to positions of power in those systems). But your position that the African thought they were selling the African into some mild form of slavery is Afrocentric fantasy. Those African slave traders were selfish fools that sold their countries one person at a time. Thanks for posting.

@babyballoongirl I am not sure what thoroughly research means, but I have spent more than seven months living in Africa (Nubia (so called Sudan), Mali, and Ethiopia) and have examined this issue. My wife is a Nubian (born and raised) and her grandfather had what you would call indentured servants. Additionally for years I have talked to Nigerians about the topic. Regards.

How do you know they're not being trained to believe their people sold them out of greed? Did you know that there were Africans that spoke out against slavery during that time? Research that too.

Two of the biggest problems in America are 1) people with religion that think they are the chosen people because of their beliefs and 2) people with no religious foundation that simply consume goods, services, and people trying to fill the moral void.
