  • where is your pipette stand? it may drop off the bench or the tip will get infected and the dropper of the indicator should always hold horizontally or else the solution might soak through the rubber part. and recap after use.

    btw when titrating, it is swirling the flask not shaking

  • You should always wear gloves when manipulating chemical reagents.

  • @eduard6969 thanks for the advice...^_^ thank God, we were using less concentrated acid...

  • just a few tips, don't pipette out of the volumetric flask, poor the solution into a beaker first. Also, instead of using the term neutral, say it has reached endpoint or equivalence point

  • sodium carbonate is not NaCO3.. but, it is Na2CO3
