  • ...classic gundersen.

  • mr. gundersen, i want to know do you have any ideas to control this problem?

  • @enlightenment2u Man your a real Uneducated idiot, just shut up!

  • @enlightenment2u get real

  • It's downright criminal that nobody else outside of Arnie Gundersen and Christopher Busby are giving us any accurate data relating the crisis. The media has virtually dropped the story all together and our Western Governments have issued no warnings of radiation levels in produce, water, and dairy products. TEPCO, the Japanese govt, as well as the govt of all of the British colonies including the USA and Canada need to be put on trial and hanged with the media for downplaying a Level 7 event.

  • Why are they not dropping cement and encasing these reactors?

Why are they planning on letting them go like this for the next, at least, 9 months?

  • Arnie,

Hi. Would you be so kind as to cover the effects to the West Coast of the US. Some of us are thinking the material is already contaminating us here, and wondering if/when we might want to relocate.

    Thank you Sir..

  • Arnie, thank you for keeping us informed during this time of uncertainty. Of course, radiation sickness is what finally killed John Wayne, and we all know what a good cowboy "The Duke" was, so it looks like what we all need to do is to just stay on this bucking bronco until the bell rings.

I see that one of our readers has discovered that there is an article about Arnie in the Wikipedia. Well, for those who are interested, the fairewindsenergy site has a "who we are" page with much more inf

  • Thanks for shooting straight from the hip on this japan nuclear crisis, looks like the U.S. will be getting there far share of X-Rays in the next couple of months.Hopefully with a side order of mineral clay in the chocolate bars to help detoxic the body, like they did for the russians after chernobyl accident.

  • Wow. That was kind of a bleek report. But thank you for sharing with us what the media won't. You are a blessing Mr. Gundersen.

  • a worker died in fukushima today

  • ,,nowadays we have to babysit our 'leaders', sickening slow motion train crash...yippeeee! =/

  • I want to express such Thanks to you for all the honest information that you share with us. Your professionalism and direct blunt truth helps to confirm the facts that each of us have been so concerned about. I do wish you would address the air quality in the USA and the concerns that many of us have now about our food safety. From what I have watched, we have had a substantial amount of rainfall and with the radiation in our atmosphere, should we be concerned? What are the true numbers?

  • Thanks for your scientific clarity and human kindness. By telling the truth, you let us assess the situation, and take adequate measures.

  • SO WERE ALL FUCKED?

  • Thanks so much for these reports. You are the only voice raising the alarm it seems. Everyone else seems bent on covering up the extent of the problem.

  • What I find so frustrating is this wasteland of broader perspective on SPREAD in ocean, air and land. This is described as though it were a local problem confined to Japan is so narrow. How about surrounding countries so close by? How about sealife, aquatic air and land animals, how about migrations, how about ocean and air circulatory patterns in the pacific and beyond?

As Helen Caldicott was courageous enough to state, there really is nothing anyone can do to escape radiation.

    GAH!!!!!!

  • @deckchairs1

you can die and then the problem is no more

  • So what you're saying Mr Gundersen is that the radioactive shit has been hitting the fan all along, and will continue to hit the fan for an indefinite while longer.

  • Pretty damming report. thanks Arnie

  • Great report. The ONLY source in the world giving the people the real facts.

  • I am living in Sendai Mr. Gunderson. Thank you for your professional views on the situation. Lately we are quite good informed on the national level from Mainichi Daily News, but still I feel lack of information about Miyagi prefecture, which is just next to Fukushima pref. We are too close, and there are really no data on Food, or Water. Even IAEA is skipping Miyagi. Life goes like nothing happened here. Sendai is city of 1 milion citizens just 90-100 km north from NPP. Why no info...?

  • what requirements does it need be met, physically to advance personnel on site? Doomed or not what can we do to face such a hazard by biological measures, for personnel introversion? Is their any?

  • Thanks Mr. Gunderson. Everyone I know that is still courageous enough to pay attention to this world changing disaster is desperate to get useful information and advice as to what precautions might be effective for those living in the northern hemisphere. This has all the awful tragedy of the novel On The Beach. Do we just quietly watch and wait.......?

  • I guess an engineer, who ran a nuclear power station and was an expert witness on Three Mile Island has the best idea of what is going on here. Logic dictates that if tea south of Tokyo is contaminated, Greenpeace have found contamination of seaweed beyond the exclusion zone and criirad found large leafed vegetables, herbs, goats' and sheep' milk contaminated in France in March, then everyone can hazard a guess at what 'level' we are at here. This is the concept of 'in denial' in action.

  • UCTV Just put out a lecture of all their professors that are just saying the opposite of Arnie Gunderson. I'm confused... they say there is no Danger and it's a level six not half as bad as Chernobyl?

  • @Mystery207

Forget the experts just listen to your own common sense.

Look at the pictures and draw your own conclusions.

If there was no problem the Governments would be bigging it up...look how wonderful we are for solving this.

When you are being stonewalled it means you are fucked.

  • My elementary school was 13 miles south of the santa susana reactor meltdown, and all the playgrounds were tarmac'ed - i never understood why as a kid, but all the topsoil had been replaced with washable surfaces.

  • Thank you...

  • Thank you so much Mr. Gundersen.

  • Secondary containment structures are failing at #Fukushima. Japanese groundwater is being contaminated. Radioactive steam spewing everywhere.

I would like to know, based upon this update, what is the worst-case scenario?

  • You are the ONLY person on the planet who is telling the truth. God Bless You Sir!

  • @jrae50021 God has nothing to do with it..

As for truth, its fair enough to say that unless someone has been there and had a look around then they wont know the truth, thing is with that sort of radiation I dont think anyone would fancy going in and having a proper look around so we wont know the truth..

  • @Trig0r I said God Bless You Sir! It is a respectful way to acknowledge Mr. Gundersen's expertise with a blessing! As a Christian I pray for you too! Mr. Gundersen has been in direct contact with Tepco who is running the show in Japan. It doesn't get anymore direct than that! If you want to question Mr. Gundersen's integrity or expertise I suggest you do some research. The people who are doing the work at Fukushima are dying or are already dead! there's your truth!!!

  • Another excellent clear concise report. Thank you so much for your time and effort in keeping us informed.

  • Thank you Arnie! I would like to know your take on the US not monitoring the radiation daily and do they have the equipment to monitor all the differant forms that have come from Japan? Most of the monitoring has been shut down, WHY? Or they say we have low levels but how can that be or they say in milk then quit sampling? Is it really because it is not of great concern? Or is it to not cause panic? or are they wanting us confused? And even in Japan there is contradicting #'s ?

  • Thank you very much for your report. The main-stream media shut-down on this disaster is laughable, if it wasn't so tragic and thus, day after day we are still allowing one greedy, incompetent company to ruin the planet for all of us. In Japan they need to evacuate the children as far away from the site as possible - they are the country's future and hope - it beggars belief the legacy they will have to contend with but at least give them a chance! There never was a future with nuclear power.

  • @Pavlovafowl What you say about the main-stream media is very true!

  • Today they are going to kill all the animals in the exclusion zone Arnie. My question is "Is it really necessary? There are no people in that zone to contaminate so why are they killing the animals and acquiring more bad Karma? Also the animals could be left there so we can see what the effect of radiation really is. Maybe AREVA does not want us to see how their death machines kill the animals. That would put the fear of nuclear plants that these criminals are still selling freely worldwide.!

  • I don't see any silver lining anywhere with these problems at Fukushima. As the water and air make Japanese people more and more ill, there will be hardly anyone eventually to man the other 50 (fifty) reactors in Japan. These are live and if left unattended will certainly spew out enough radiation to destroy the whole world. And no qualified technicians will be fool enough to go to radio-active Japan to work at their nuclear plants. Todate there are no outsiders willing to work at Fukushima

  • Sound Analysis contain always SOUND ANALYSIS.

Only I-diots, Deaf and/or Paid ppl bypass the very basics: just tell me why all this MSM-programming while hiding the basic facts.

See real and too simple sound analysis, @you-tube "Fukushima Daichii Plutonium Reactor No 3 explosions"

  • I really like enenews. Search that word and check out daily, even through out the day, as articles from round the glove are summarized and linked on that website about Fukushima...stuff that the main stream media should be printing, informing us, and even making money off of newspaper sales.

  • Thank you Mr. Gundersen!

  • I would like to pint out that we really dont need nukes at all. Paul Pantone has been trying ot sell geet for 30 years. Caterpillar, GM, Ford, noone would buy it for they are too scared. Geet engines run on 80%water 20 percent (anything carbon) used oil, battery acid, pickle juice, beer. Google "Free geet plans" and PRINT them!!!! Then youtube "geet generator runs on beer" and see for yourselves that we dont need nuke. Just geet farms. We have been screwed, big time.

  • Arnie - has anyone in the US government contacted you? How would you recommend we influence our gov't to do something

  • It sounds like the island will be uninhabitable. Can they dump boron and cover with cement at this point? It sounds like protecting ground water contamination is lost cause. At least they could try to minimize air release so they don't kill the rest of the N Hemisphere

  • Thank you, Mr Gundersen. One question re the claim that core meltdown starts a few hours after cooling fails. Since the cooling in Fukushima failed for 20 hours, this would mean the full meltdown for all affected reactors was doomed from the very beginning. Is that statement correct?

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you Arnie

  • red sky

  • Thank you sir. Peace.

  • nice glowing background lol it kinda expresses whats coming

  • Where the hell are the governments? Why can't we get anyone's attention? Where is the media? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?

  • @EightOfCoins Everything is hyped by stupid news like US staged bin laden death, is really sad the mainstream media is not even talking about fukushima anymore... also the blame also goes to tepco which have been covering up the severity of the disaster.
