I was surprised when I heard the news, too. May he R.I.P. I'm sure he's laughing his ass off at this song, on the other side, with someone in a headlock.
Lil Deuce Deuce, if you keep at it, you're going to be an internet legend. I'm kind of surprised how few hits your videos have! It'd be hilarious if you go on an 'official' beef with some other meme.
Macho Man impressions are like sex. Anyone can do it but it's impossible to master. And it's always fun to do unless your sore from doing it too much.
@FromTheTube1 I didn't make this one downloadable because I didn't want to seem like I was trying to profit off the guy's death. All my other stuff is on iTunes though if you search for Lil Deuce Deuce. I'll include the Macho Man song on there and a few other bonuses once I get a full album's worth of material. Thanks for the support, you rock and/or roll.
As someone who got to meet him several times, I hated the man. He lived not far from me, was always an ass, everything he did was for the money, and he treated everyone else like shit. He isn't 'up there' anywhere... he's high in temp in a lake of fire. @LilDeuceDeuce : For techinical merit, very well done piece of work, for topic of work you could have chosen a better subject.
@fwishbringer Yeah, obviously I know nothing about the guy other than his public persona; I can't claim to have any deep insight into what he was like as a person. There's a tendency after somebody dies to whitewash their sins so I may be guilty of that as much as anyone else. I still think he was a uniquely hilarious and intense performer though, regardless of his personal life.
@Holygiant Kind of makes me wonder how many streets I've driven on where people died, I just never knew about it because they weren't famous. Probably not that many though because I'm from a fairly small Canadian town and it's big news whenever we have a traffic fatality here.
@cheetopocket Thanks for subscribing. I'm curious...does a cheetopocket refer to an air pocket inside a cheetoh? Or do you keep cheetos in your pockets? And if so do you wear orange pants to hide the stains?
@LilDeuceDeuce lol. its a bit of both... was stoned when i made this name.... so... lol. either way man, keep up the great work. i really enjoy your shit. i find my self singing the chorus for quack attack all the time.
@cheetopocket That's awesome. It's probably hard to sing the chorus to Quack Attack if you don't own the CherBot3000 plug-in though. (a.k.a. autotune)
@grandpajoe6191 That brings up an interesting question...can death be owned? Or does death, in the end, own us all? Perhaps it's not a question of ownership. Perhaps in death we can no longer own or be owned, but return back to the ether from whence we came.
SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM! You know, I'm actually a pretty shitty Macho Man fan, because for years and years I quoted that commercial to friends and I thought it went, "Step into a slim jim!"
@guendoloena1 Razor Ramone was badass. He can give the video a thumbs-down as long as he watched and then disdainfully flicked a toothpick at his computer monitor.
@hooplablahblahblah Thanks. It's funny, I found a message board where somebody started ripping into me because I was so stupid, I thought Macho Man was the lead singer of White Zombie. I think the irony was lost on them.
@Actionlutz Thank you. It's crazy how these guys are like superheroes growing up and then as you grow up and you hear all these famous names from your childhood die, you get a small taste of your own mortality.
@LilDeuceDeuce i like how you respond to everyone. props bro. i like your raps alot. keep them coming. im surprised you have so little views. this should have more than a million.
@FromTheTube1 Thanks man, sorry it took me awhile to respond. I enjoy shooting the shit with people on here so that's why I try to respond to most people. Obviously I'd love to have a million views but when you look at the sheer amount of amazing stuff that's out there, it's hard to make a dent. There's more and more options for people, whether it's TV, movies, video games, youtube videos, etc. but people still have the same basic amount of free time so the pie gets sliced ever-thinner.
@CrossTheGrigori Thanks man. This is an aside but I can remember being 10 years old and getting in heated arguments with my friends about how wrestling was 'real'. I also thought Santa Claus was real. I was a very sheltered child. But when Santa dies he's going to get a hell of a heartfelt tribute from me.
@AradanFtw Thanks! I love ERBOH. If I could get away with it, I'd stop trying to write original tunes and just try to chain as many quotes together as possible. I keep getting "When it comes to squashing limeys, I come recommended highly!" stuck in my head lately.
@ropesack Thank you sir. Can't go wrong with "Pomp and Circumstance." Well, unless you use anything from the first two minutes of the piece that most people don't recognize.
@ihadmustard Thank you sir. Nicepeter is a genius, and Lloyd Ahlquist's version of Macho Man has cracked me up more times than I can remember over the last couple months.
wow, didn't realise you were into wrestling Deuce, then again, you are Canadian right ? it's pretty much in your blood.
Have fun in the Danger Zone in the sky Macho Man, never has there been someone so consistantly entertaining in the ring, while being so consistantly hilarious outside it.
@EmperorBubba That's funny, I never really noticed how many Canadians there are in wrestling, but you're right...the Harts, Chris Benoit...those are just two Canadian wrestlers off the top of my head and already it brings to mine two horrific incidents...man, a lot of tragedies associated with people in this sport.
Lance Storm, Chris Jericho, El Generico, Petey WIlliams, Roddy Piper ( yep ), Steve Corino,
CODY DEANER !
the list goes on and on and on, Canada has a great heritage of wrestling. Sure the Harts have a checkered past, and Benoit's final days were a tragedy, but nevertheless, you've got a lot to be proud of ( Lance Storm alone tbh )
@EmperorBubba I should've remembered Chris Jericho; I did the music for a sci fi movie he was in called Android Apocalypse. There's Edge too from Ontario; I heard a few interviews with him outside the ring and he was always thoughtful and interesting to listen to even though I wasn't really following wrestling at the time.
@TheCryoScales Thanks man. I'm probably going to keep releasing stuff a track at a time on iTunes, but if I got a whole album's worth I'd probably package it together with some extras you can't find on youtube. The plan for now is just keep putting out a new song every month or so and release them as singles.
