To this day i still love this entire scene and still tear up when Hammond says "Dr. Grant, my dear Dr. Sattler, welcome. . .to Jurassic Park". The scene and the music really make this one of the few scenes in movies where i become physicaly unable to hold back tears. Silly, i know.

I love how this soundtrack, like the movie, has a perfect balance of wonder & horror. This track particularly having all variations of wonder.

Always loved the beginning, there's a feel of optimism, a small group of people ready for a adventure.

1:20 to 3:15 The awe of arrival.

3:15 to 4:25 Treking the foriegn terrain, what next?

4:34 Real anxiety strikes our hearts as we wonder why all their faces show the same is expression. "Could that possibly be....?"O.o

I much prefer the Jurassic Park, and Lost World, books to the films. I read the books for the first time when I was 11, although back then I didn't understand any of the biological and evolutionary terms ...

It's a shame Michael Crichton passed away before he could finish JP3 ... and left film producers to make a complete hash out of milking the franchise themselves ...

The first and second Jurassic Park movies were amazing, then the third one was a piece of crap. It was just horrible! Ugh. I hope they bring the fourth Jurassic Park up to par with Jurassic Park 1 and 2. Btw, Jurassic Park soundtracks are amazing!

The sense of wonder is almost overpowering in this piece. The amazing CGI and this phenomenal musical score brought dinosaurs back to life.

The cgi used in the movie was very well done for its time but the only part I did not enjoy was when you get the real close up of the brachiosaur and you can see the crappy texture of it. Not to say its bad but that one specific part was not good compared to most such as when the T-Rex comes out of its fencing, I was utterly wowed at that!
