When I saw the big blotch on the eyes of Mr. Coltrane I thought the picture got ruined, but once the shades were added in I realized this was a shadow reflection of the saxophone on Mr. Coltrane s face. Thais is artistry, being able to foresee layers of the drawing with their functions in the future. This requires a great depth of perception and concentration. Absolutely amazing plus the choice of Mr. Coltrane s music is exquisite.
