The modern Indian cheiftain who deserves to be commended in this regard is Chatrapathi Sivaji of the Maratha clan.He and his clan spelt doom for the pitifull mughal dynasty.It is widely acknowledged that Sivaji brough an end to the mughals.The Rajputs,Wodeyar/Mysore dynasty of the south,Sikhs of punjab etc also deserve to be honoured for standing up to and putting the mughals in their place.Muslims rulers and the mughals are a bad memory of the distant past as far as Indians are concerned,ciao!

Blah blah blah yall''...you guys I am gonna be frank.It is very ironic that Hrithik was chosen to play ""Akbar the butcher"" while SRK was chosen to play the "Mauryan Emperor of all India-Asoka the greatest"-India's true and only true pan Indian emperor.It is a pity Asoka's heart was made out of gold and he advocated the path of peace after viewing the futility of war.The Mauryan dynasty would have stopped the moslems.The Mughals were just slaughterers and butchers,not humans,sure not Indians!!!

its cus this movie takes place in northern india and what is now pakistan...most people of that area have lighter skin tones....the middle and southern indians have dark skin tones. thats also why the nothern people sometimes have colored eyes and/or "asian eyes" because the north also borders china.
