Just to clear the air. I am the guy in the evo. I was awake for over 32hrs when we raced so i was a bit slow to react. also george didnt jump me that bad every time. the problem was that was my first time i drove my car with the red on it and i wasnt sure of the sweet spot yet. i would hit it about the same time as george but i had so much lag that by the time the car hit boost George was gone. that honda was sittin at 9k waiting to go. i was at 3.5k trying to go.

Methanol injection, cams, porting of manifold and turbo plus lots of other mods. If u dont have meth u are losing almost 100whp and a ton of torque! This is how we made 490whp+

He was just saying that they weren't leaving at the same time because the s2000 took the hit every race. The only time he didn't they were even at the top of 4th gear. The s2000 weighs less than the evo so it doesn't need as much hp to be quicker. If you get two cars that are similar in power to weight ratio and when one leaves early, it looks like it dominates the race when in fact it should be a close race. Who cares about n/a, they are both turbo now.

The EVO 9 runs hard, it has a 5 speed conversion. THe Honda is def no slouch! both cars are wrenched and tuned properly. The last pull the EVO 9 guy, brake boosted and at the top of 4rth hear both cars were dead even.
