@smokingcrayons this video is about 7 months old, which is like light years in technology these days, especially Android.I havent checked to see if people were still developing for this rom. I am more focused on my Nexus One now :). I have a running build of Froyo (Android 2.2) right now. ITS AWESOME.

Okay, first off are you a rooted user?? Because if not you need root to flash this rom. And if you are rooted you will not push this as an update, you will have to wipe your entire system before applying this. I would recommend backing up all of your contacts, bookmarks, and whatever else you might want on your phone. Then you can wipe, wipe ext, repair ext, then apply this rom as an update. Get back to me and I can hopefully help you out further.

First off yes its rooted... its actily a dev phone so its rooted but I wanted to know if I do this first off will my 3g work 2nd off if let's say 2.1 comes out for moto blir will be able to upgrade it right from my g1?

3g does work, i am not sure if the same devs are working on this port anymore because it kinda got pointless because of all the issues. I would say there might be a no-wipe update but im not sure.

What's your SD setup on this one? I'm using Class4 8gig wit 500mb ext2 and 96mb linux-swap. Would that work wit the one in your link?

I would say that it is worth it. The new version is out that has fixed a few kinks. Still no WIFI and I figured out how to get my Hotmail synced. I had to enter Manually Enter Incoming and Outgoing Server Settings which wasn't too bad. I am actually flashing the newest version right now which is V T.8. You can download it from the link in the sidebar. As far as speed, I would say it is faster than any of the Hero Roms I have ever tried.
