@bigboybronson yeah keep the hdmi in the xbox as well as the rca (red, white, yellow), put the red and white in the stereo but leave the yellow out, and go on your xbox and change your audio settings .

@bigboybronson If you hook the xbox to the tv with a hdmi.Your tv should have just a stand alone red and white audio hook up.Hook the tv up to the Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z506 and bam there you go.

I just purchased these and Im waiting on the shipment. I currently have a simple 2 speaker stereo system with a woofer thru logitech and to be honest it beats out my Bose acoustimass system. It has a very warm sound for bass and clear high and low tones for treble. This system also appealed to me because I want to be able to hook them to my receiver and then to the computer for recording purposes. This system will be in my room, and I cant wait to hear them.

Or the RCA RT151, once difference I see is that RCA is 80 watts and has a remote, and the Logictech is 75 watts and but as a headphone jack lol. They both cost about the same. If i connect the orange one and the black one 2 of the speakers don't work. I mean, only with the green one, i'm getting all the 5 speakers + subwoofer working, but, i'm guessing, if i can connect all speakers with one cable, what is the black and orange for ? o_O

This video is very dumb. How can he say you can hear people from any direction when the console is plugged into the stereo? That's only left and right, not surround. Also he says you can plug in headphones, but he just plugged something into the audio INPUT...... not output....so idk how he's going to listen to it if the speakers think the headphones are giving it sound instead of the other way around.....

@Alpha2261 Well, on the 'surround' bit, that's part of the 3d sound thing he mentioned. Not sure if it's 'as good' as real surround(probably isn't), but it widens then 'emulates' surround. out of those 2.

@jimrodcart THIS IS TO WHAT I CAN SEE DONT QUOTE ME ON THIS! I believe you would have to buy a sperate audio splitter to use them meaning you cant use an hdmi cord to use your system/tv. Also it could only use one system at a time (if your using a gaming system it uses that but it cant use a dvd player at the same time)

Inputs for anything?? Bullshit!! This thing has no optical inputs rendering it completely useless. To connect an Xbox 360 or PS3 for 5.1 surround you need optical which this lacks. Also can't connect to a PC/Mac via Toslink. Completely useless and not true digital surround. :/
