I listened to an interview with Buck Robley (who booked this). He said Brody was hesitant to do it (the wheelchair), saying "We can't get away with this can we?", and the jobber was someone Buck brought in specifically the spot. He told him Brody was going to stiff him and throw him into a wheelchair, and to sell it like he was going to die--which he did, and Buck said it was a great sell by the jobber
I wonder if Sid Vicious seen this growing up since he did the same thing in the WWE and the jobbers...How much would they have to pay you to face Abdullah the Bucther in hour and Maniac Mark Lewin the next...lol
Both Brody and Solie are fantastic here. Listening to Solie call a match is like listening to epic poetry. Watching Brody wrestle and work the mike is a privilege I wish all of us could have today.
