I guess it depends on what's going on in the scene. If you have other characters, you could probably get away with a thirty frame hold. Also, popping on a blink helps! :)

Well, first it's being shot on 30 frames per second, which gives a little more leeway. But getting a good hold is all about smooth ins and outs.
