  • Margarito's arm punches are so pitiful, when will he learn that fighting like Waluigi does not work?

  • No wonder clottey had 2 bad hands he was blocking cement knuckles ALL NIGHT!

The disgrace of boxing was using handwraps here as well, do you ever wonder why his opponents are NEVER KNOCKED OUT? it's always a tko they always QUIT, they are never in danger of being KNocked out! it's all handwraps.

  • @realistromeo c'mon man i don't think so your taking the hand wraps thing way out of proportion , i don't think he used them until after the Williams fight , and even then no one can be sure

  • @crookedwiretap89 marg is featherfisted its not hard to tell..its his aggression, chin n workrate that gets him tko's..he has no power at all..there is barely any weight behind his shots..the wraps did the work

  • @MrJourneyman1986 nah man he gets good leverage into his upper cuts and body shots . he didn't use wraps until after williams , other wise clotty and williams would have got marked up too . hand wraps fucking magic they don't brake peoples hands

  • Clottey Had two bad hands for that fight. So Clottey would have won if those hands were good

  • Cotto went too early for the KO, he got tired plus the cement just fucked him up... Cotto will avenge his loss but its sad that a cheater is making all these money. He is nothing more than a tough chin contender but never an elite NEVER

  • Jeez was Clottey a supermiddleweight for the fight??? That guy rehydrates like 25% of his bodyweight overnight.

  • Shit Margarito fights like an amateur. I probably throws +100 punches and doesn't land anything. He squares up and jabs with his right hand. No zip in those punches at all. Maybe he's not wearing illegal handwraps in this fight.

  • clotteys got a solid defence i believe he won the first few rounds with it and effective countering. margarito threw alotta punches in that last round and only landed a couple of glancing uppercuts

  • Berto needs to get past the likes of Clottey & Mosley first before trying to land a fight with either Money May or PacMan.

  • If clottey could get a better trainer, he would certainly be part of the top 5.. possibly higher tan Cotto

  • @hybridwhat I totally disagree with you. Clottey is a descent fighter but know way an elite fighter. He does not use the jab enough Hes a descent puncher not a big puncher Hes trigger shy, when he hurts fighters he lets them of the hook Hes Not active No great foot or head movement With that stupid defence of his he takes too many punches Staminas not great Never starts and finishes exchanges like Pac Marquez + Marg He is not brave, hes got no heart. Even crap club fighters have heart !!!!!
  • @Topsey2000 Actually, in his other fights before pacquiao, he didn't show any of those weaknesses as you mentioned here, his foot work and accurate punching is very good

  • margarito would be a good fighter if only his coach was better at his job

  • THAT MOFO HAS A GREAT DEFENSE NOT DEFENCE

  • Margarito is fighting like he is drunk, unbelievable!

  • How does this guy think he is even going to last 4 rounds with Paquiao?

This is going to be bad. I guess he is just looking to get one last big headline fight and retire. Hopefully paquiao doesn't turn him into a retard.

  • think if margarito fights likes this early against the pacman he will get stopped!!

  • clottey had not hurt his hand antonio would have lost

  • @facewear77 -i dnt think he hurt his hand bad..he does this in everyfight he loses cos his workrate drops, did it against cotto aswell, and against pac..when ever he threw he landed but he didnt throw enough..plus marg always starts slow n then comes on..so both things together is prob y clottey lost

  • pacman will will knock margarito

  • this guy is too slow pacman will munch alive in 3-4 rounds

  • pacman is too fast for this guy. he is going to munch him alive like the game

  • he threw alot of punches in this fight

  • sometime's i wish i could just put commentators on mute!!!!!!! If i hear that son of a bitch say "text book fight" ONE MORE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! Im gonna freakin slap his grandma!

  • sometime's i wish i could just put commentators on mute!!!!!!!

  • clottey has more respect on pacquiao rather than margarito....he knew that pacquiao will give him more trouble, that's why he's keep on blocking than punching....

  • Comment removed

  • If margarito is gonna fight like this slow against pac...he's gonna be dead...

  • clottey's defence is remarkable, a solid defence right in front of his oponent.

unlike F Mayweather's defence completely gay compared to clottey's defence.

  • Clottey already fought Cotto. Cotto won mainly cause Clottey got injured when he was slammed down by Cotto

  • @mkvl1490 Clottey lost (I believe) the last two rounds, but was piling on the points in rounds 7-10. Slam was in round 5; if it really bothered him, he probably wouldn't have done so well between 7 and 10.

I was at the fight and was blown away by Clottey's drop in activity at the end. Cotto, on the other hand, fought through a terrible gash from round 3 on. Definitely a close fight (116-111 for Cotto was ridiculous), but I have no problem with a close fight going to the guy with heart.

  • @bigjer88 clottey always makes excuse. in this fight he broke his hand, in cotto fight it was the slam and in pac fight he had diarrea

  • @AlexiusMoore HIlarious!!! It's too bad, though, because he's not without skill. He could be a very likeable fighter...well, he could have been, I guess. After the Pacquiao fight, who wants to see him again?

  • @bigjer88 yea thats the sad thing, if he didnt relly on excuses and went all out when he needed to he could of beat margo and cotto, and would of gave pac a great fight. he's still one of my fav fighters but i cant take him seriously enough to think he's gonna win a big fight.

  • @mkvl1490 you bought that barbara streisand performance clottey gave?LMAO cotto fought with basically a machete wound over his eye for like 10 rounds. clottey could have won the fight but he let cotto live by not picking up the aggression and finishing the job. cotto was a sitting duck for those champion rounds and clottey didn't do shit. when it's clutch time clottey folds like origami.

  • I wanna see Clotty v Cotto, i think they fight quite similar. But Cotto is a bit more offensive!!

  • @dpressure7 fight already happen dude were u been ?

  • @truBoxingfan I know, i only saw it after i posted the comment. I missed that 1

  • i love the way clottey fights !! JUST like ME hehe

  • he had a broken left hand he really couldnt continue the fight

  • i think clottey can whoop the hell out of floyd. they both have the same style. clottey is more ferocious though.

  • @deonvan Same style? i dont know, but he had the pefect style to beat Margarito...

  • @connymat Sorry I wouldn't say same style also... But a laid back kind of fighter.

  • @deonvan no way can Clottey beat Floyd. Clottey is slow, and has no offense. Floyd is the complete package. He picks his moments and is leaps and bounds beyond anybody out there.

  • @ncrb73 Yeah true clottey doesn't have offence. but whenever he does throw punches you know the other person feel them. did you see that fight with Juda? or cotto? Clottey had them

  • @ncrb73 CLOTTEY CAN BEAT FLOYD MONEY GAYWEATHER!!

  • @ironfist026 put the crack pipe down!

  • @deonvan yeah Floyd and Clottey should fight I think it would be good

  • Clottey was fuckin him up in these early rds. Dude would actually be a serious force if he had the heart to fight thru tough shit.

  • I don't care about promoters, but Margarito is way too bic for Pacquiao! And at 154, it's crazy!

  • clottey always get robbed

  • margaritto could not hit clottey... simply bcoz he has no talent in this boxing sports!!!!

  • get in the ring floyd

  • clottey should never be allowed to headline a ppv event again

  • i didnt know he is that fast

  • Clottey is a good fighter....

  • I really wish that Clottey team put together a game plan of heavy output. IF clottey lets his hands go, He will beat Pacquaio.

  • he may.. but the question is if he can.?

  • sickest shit i ever senn at 4:37

  • @sammyfarhaz Incredibly, deceptively quick! Pacquioa better not take this man lightly...

  • Cheers for the upload ma man.

  • i think pacquiao vs margarito is worth watching than pacquiao vs clottey, just my opinion

  • Maybe if margarito can make a successful comeback and prove he still belongs up there with the top fighters. He's been away for a year and can't even get a license in the us.

  • Make that 1:55/1:56.

  • Clottey's a dirty bastard! Just watch at about 2:00 minutes in, when he misses with a right & draws his elbow into Margarito's face!

  • well see Clottey`s defense for Pacquaio assault of punching 100 punches per round...watch Pacquaio vs Diaz fight.....the fight will look like that except less blood because of Clottey`s granite chin..the Stadium will be rockin`beleive me!!

  • pacman wont knock clottey out. He's never been hurt or knocked out, in this fight Margarito threw a boxing record of over 1600 punches, and couldnt even put a dent on him. two hurt hands and still gave him a hard time. The only thing clottey needs is to be is more consistent he cannot afford to fade or he'll lose on the score cards. But trust me people will know who jashua clottey is after this fight.

  • watch that Pacquiao/Cotto fight...Pacman is very quick in his feet also.....Cotto looks like he's fighting two guys.....he cant find Manny...

  • im not doubting his abilities, im saying pacman will probably win. but it will be on points. a clear decision if clottey fades in the later rounds like he has been known to do. but i just dont see him getting stopped, maybe knocked down because of mannys speed and precision, but clotteys from ghana, among six of the greatest fighters who have come out from there they have over 250 wins with only six stoppages. that includes greats like Ike Quartey, Zuma Nelson, and the more recent Joseph agbeko

  • @MrSpqr84 True Boxing fans know who Clottey is. Clottey has a great chance at shocking the world, but the only thing that concerns me is his tendency to take breaks or turn too passive behind his peek-a-boo style defense! Clottey is an excellent counter-puncher and against Pacquioa's windmill pursuit he could have a field day behind his quickness (deceptively quick) and power (dude is strong). It'll be a great fight either way.

  • see the fight went exactly as i said it would, booyaa! your the shit pacman. step up floyd!

  • Alright, alright... nobody like a gloater.lool

Nah, but you were on point with the prediction! I thought Clottey would lose but I had no idea he would be that passive in the fight! Dude was like a human punching bag for the most part.lool

Do you think the magnitude of the event got to him? I know it's no excuse, but still...

In the hypothetical fight between Floyd and Pac how do you see that one playing out?

    Peace, man!

    LongLiveBoxing

  • clottey takes all the shots on his arm and body, you might be blocking but your still taking damage, it wears you down and diminishes your power. Floyd is the interesting one. pacman was frustrated chasing cotto the last few rounds. thats exactly what hes gonna have to do. if he can cut the ring off and aggressively attack the body he can stop him, but floyd can match pacmans speed and counter punch. that fight aint a fix, pacmans thoughest fight ever 4 sure, but he can beat him. so can floyd

  • thank you for posting

  • Clottey f***ed his left hand up in the late 4th round, if it wasnt for that injury Clottey would of won that fight...I dont know but Clottey will give PacMan a battle cause Clottey got some serious defense... I think it will be a good fight

  • clottey is a cold boxer he will knock paquiao out

  • as long as he doesn't wait and let manny gain points because i dont think manny can knock clottey out. clottey has a a good chin and too great a defense. so if cottey doesn't let pacquiao gain to much points then clottey can win by knockout because he might get robbed if it goes to score cards. and clottey does learn from other boxers that have had upper hands against his opponents.

  • 3 rounds to 2 for Clottey.

  • this might sound stoupid but i think clotty is in the top 3 best welterweights

  • @slamin45 U ain't stupid.. as a pacfan and a boxing fan, CLOTTEY is definitely in the top 10 best welterweights in the last 5 years. i never underestimate this guy coz i know he can fight. PAC is just out of this world.

  • @drei9 clottey was paid off you want me 2 believe he cant beat pac man???!!!!

  • @1topgorgon uh watch clotteys fights. when ppl are hitting his gloves/arms he doesnt counter he only blocks. pacquiao throws a lot of combinations. so its simple, clottey just couldnt get his shots off in that fight.

  • @1topgorgon -- And your evidence is what? And what would be his motivation to take a dive when he would make millions in a rematch if he won? What is more likely, that he took a dive, or that he wasn't well prepared and had a bad night in his first truly big fight against the biggest star in the game? Did Cotto take a dive too? Give me a break.

  • @carbert68 the reason i say that is bcuz clottey is not a big star in boxing even if he did beat pac he will never generate the money pac would. no he is not a star but he is an incredible boxer nobody ever really beat clottey he has always been robbed and for a world class boxer to perform like he did is mighty suspicious. Thats all im sayin

  • @1topgorgon Nothing suspicious IMO. Paq's style and speed gave Clottey big problems. He was afraid to miss because he knew Manny would make him pay, so he fought a conservative fight, waiting for chances that never came. I also think he was poorly prepared. He didn't have a good trainer for the fight and he seemed to have no strategy beyond being careful and patient. And I think the pressure of his first truly big fight got to him. He was tight, a bit intimidated, and just never got comfortable.

  • @carbert68 facts about bob arum: he is the promoters for miguel cotto, manny pacquiao, and joshua clottey and antonio margarito. fact: on numerous accounts he bribed officials to put fights in his favor and has been known for fixed bouts. question: do u think he will risk is biggest draw to lose to a dangerous boxer with no following. thats just some of my OPINIONS with facts, and an educated conclusion. THINK ABOUT IT!!!

  • @1topgorgon Fighters having the same promoter proves nothing except that Arum's interests are protected no matter who wins, an argument against a fix. Arum wouldn't have a licence to work if it were proven he's done fixed matches or bribed officials. And you assume Clottey could be bought. He would get at least ten million in a rematch, so how much would it take to get him to throw the fight? I think Clottey might have more integrity than that. And it wouldn't be worth it financially to Arum.

  • I dont understand how they say Clottey got tired at the end of his fight

because Clottey would run up to 15 miles a day

  • clottey said he hurt his hand.

  • those bricks slowed him down

  • clottey is like the welterweight winky wright with that air tight defense.he beat cotto tonight but he was in puerto rican heaven so if he didnt knock cotto out than is a certain loss

  • I just saw the fight and I gave it a tie. 7 to 5 for clottey, with a 10-8 round for cotto, who also won 4, 6, 11, and 12

  • is hard to belive clottey lost this fight

  • i just love joshua's style, hes so fluent.

  • Thanks for posting ChambersVSDimitrenko

been wanting to see this fight for a bit!!
