After listening to the four demos, I am really liking the direction this album is heading. It still has the distinctive sound of Fair to Midland, yet it feels so different from Fables.

"Dance of the Manatee" is quickly becoming the band's "Smells Like Teen Spirit". A great song when it came out; and it put them on the map. Now, though, all these folks try to be "cool" and say it's "overplayed", "cliché", or just plain "lame". It's always amusing to see these people whine that they can't write a song as good as that.
