Well... he tries. Unfortunately, (according to Slade who somehow returns...) Terra doesn't want to remember her past, and Beast Boy is unsuccessful in making her remember by the end of the episode.

What really sucks is that we never find out what happens to Terra and/or Slade because it was the series finale.

Actually she comes back on her own in the last episode of the series. Terra comes back but she can't remember a thing about her former life. During the entire episode Beast Boy desperately tries to revive her memory but in the end, she returns to her normal school life and Beast Boy continues fighting evil with the Titans.

It's untold how she comes back though, but many fans (including myself) believe that what happened in season 4 has something to do with it.
