I worked for TCWR for a while, and trust me when i say its better to visit than live there, as they say, it can be a grueling 12 hour a day job. I was a conductor for a couple years on the main line and on MPL.

Well, you first have to have connections somehow. For me, it was the fact that the railroad museum I volunteer for's ex-president is great friends with the Marketing and Sales guy for the TCWR, Robert Henry. If you get in contact with them somehow you'll be told if you're riding the St. Paul Turn to wear eye protection, steel toed boots, and ear protection. Once you get to the crew change point, in my case the ex-MILW depot in Hopkins, you sign a couple waivers and get up in the cab!
What was the unit, GP20C? You are so lucky, I want to ride with TC&W! Did you run through Eden Prairie? My cousins live a house away from the TC&W and we always try to catch TC&W running through!
what kind of locomotive is that Sam looks like its in the Geep or SD family from what I can see. thats really cool, I got a cab ride in an SD40 on the The McCloud River Railroad a couple years ago great vid Sam!

It was on the Berkshire Scenic Railway in MA. If you watch my "Tour of Lenoxdale Station" video, it's the engine that appears at 0:08.
