But Long Guis req. a Elixir to beat -_____- unless you're that good.

@wee187 strategy beats everything, how would you be able to defeat a great danger in reallife if you've got the best equipment but no fighting skill? exactly, now start developing a strategy :P

@Marciejjj Ah, but even when following exactly the strategy that has proven successful, these guys are a tad unpredictable at times and a badly timed stomp/roar can ruin it all ...but yeah if you keep trying and have a good strategy, it's doable. I guess. Unless it's like some of the harder mobs in FFXI (looking at you, absolute virtue...)

Strategy is one, beside that it's good to anticipate the random quake's and ultima's, or you could call it being careful. There is not much to them beside that. I know exactly how it feels to get my ass handed to me by one of those random moves they do, and in my experience the little long gui's are far more dangerous than the others. However with all the buffs/debuffs at your disposal one should be more than fine.
