I'm following your routine and I feel much better after every practice, though I still find it so heavy to lift my feet up, all the weight fall into my wrist. I'm wondering is it okay? 'Cause I don't feel relaxed with my wrist. and also, can you tell me the acceptable distance between the hands and the feet? I don't know if it makes any difference to the process.

i was wondering if it is okay that i'm not using the entire mat for the lunges. i looked at your stance and it looks like you are taking up the whole mat, and i am not really using the whole thing... is that okay or should i be striving to stretch further?
Tara I have noticed a discrepancy in the symmetry of this set. In the first warrior-two pose (the left facing one) you hold the pose. Once in the second warrior-two you add lunges to that pose where there was none for the other side of the routine. Just a heads up from a big fan! Now I'm gonna go do another strength vid. Thank You!

@dashama Your name isn't in her tags...I think it's a youtube thing because when I search "Tara Stiles" several videos pop up that are not of Tara but of other yogis (who do not have Tara mentioned in any of their tags either)

Super-Tara! Great production value in the vid shoot. I like this routine because it combines the push-up position and the warrior poses, both of which will help imrove my martial arts postures and conditioning too. Keep 'em coming & I'll keep watching & practicing. xox
Cool sequence Tara.. In your experience do beginner yogis get more flexible with time and practice? I'm still pretty stiff at the hips and can't extend my leg as far up as you in the downward dog splits.. My leg feels really heavy when i raise it up
Hi Tara! Thanks for ur awesome videos.:) I'm violinist and just found yoga a year ago, and I love to do ur videos. But I'd have a huge request to u... It would be my dream come true if there was a yoga routine for musicians / violinists. In orchestra I have to sit straight many hours and my arms up and moving. So I have to keep my lower back & abs strong, but even more, I have to practice regularly my upper back, but usually it's so stiffed that I can't do some of the movements cause it hurts.
You outta try Fish Pose every morning! It's wonderful to open up these parts. Of course, Garudasana/Eagle arms is awesome and can practiced wherever! Oh Yeah, a video would be most excellent!!
in the Russian Martial Arts videos, they teach people to do a lot of stuff thats similar to yoga. They recommend doing the pushup position and going up and down as slow as possible for strenth.
Holla! Have you tried the Fat Blast Furnace (search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my sister burned lots of fat.

@fifaifo everything opens up with time and practice. just keep with it and keep breathing. the more you lift the legs the lighter they become!
