You need to get a rat cage, mycoplasmia is a killer big time in hairless rats, bytril is dangerous for young rats it also has a generic name starts with e? please take this serious if you want that rat to live!
You need to get your rat a real cage. Large wire ferret cages work well. (By wire, I mean the outside bars. The floor of the cage should be solid.) Rats are too smart and active to be cramped into a little tank. And, I'd suggest getting him a friend. Maybe one with fur to keep him warm? XD
