@ericjaynelson Filter all of chapter 12 through verses 4-6. There are different #1 gifts, #2 administrations, #3 operations. Verse 7 - The Holy Spirit manifests Himself through these gifts, administrations and operations. Don't let verses 29 and 30 hang you up. Some people make a gift or two their whole ministry. Their ministry is just another word for administration or office. He is asking the question, Do all operate in the office of a prophet, teacher or worker of miracles, etc.?

Well, its just like anything else you might do... If Jesus didn't do it, why would you? How is martial arts going to spread the gospel? It's just like anything, at some level it may not necessarily be evil, but just not the ideal way. But a lot of things if you bring them to an extreme you can get into the demonic, where it has a hold on you in some way, and there are definite spiritual elements rooted in martial arts.

completely have lost respect for this man after what he said about martial arts and yoga.... if those things are wrong God will convict me of that.. I'm relaxing... not worshiping some other seven gods... just can't believe what I heard...

@mrdunamis68 who are you to judge me? I know where I stand in Jesus Christ. He is my Lord and Savior. He has done things for me that no human or other "god" could ever do for me... I live my life every day to worship him and give him glory. If the Holy Spirit convicts me of something then I know it's wrong and I won't do it. Until God himself speaks to me or shows me a sign that what I'm doing is wrong, then I will keep doing it until I die.

I got better at it because I practiced and got better just like with every other thing in this world.... stupid to say that it's because a DEMON is possessing my body... Get real.. Satan and Jesus can not live in the same heart.. Jesus is in my heart. Especially when I was a kid. In fact Jesus said there is nothing closer to heaven than a child. Also it says if your under the age of 12 you will go to heaven...

It is a sin ONE YOU ARE TOLD THESE POSITIONS YOU DO ARE WORSHIPPING AND CALLING DEMONS TO YOU. Now that you know...GOD HAS TOLD YOU. GOD is telling you. You just are stubborn and don't want to give it up, therefore you have demons already controlling you. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord AND the cup of demons. Period. You have opened up your body, mind and life to demons. Repent.

@SisterElizabethPrays there are no POSITIONS in shotokan karate. All we did was blocks and kicks lady. God is not telling me anything. If i'm not doing something right the holy spirit that lives inside of me will convict me especially when I'm doing it. I have been born again and I'm blood bought by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He has filled me with the holy spirit and blesssed me with the gift of tongues which cleanses your soul beyond HUMAN understanding. Nothing to repent for.

@poolcue2002 You seem to have strong feelings towards Brother Curry Blake. If you can post some scripture (from the Bible) that endorses the practice of physical exercise that is rooted in Eastern Religion, I would love to hear it.

@poolcue2002 This man of God speaks the truth, I gave up 15 years ago martial arts when the Lord showed me it was demonic. God HAS told you as soon as you heard the message. Does God have to personally come down from heaven and have tea with you and tell you at the kitchen table? No, he convicts you by educating you and you have been told by Curry Blake the truth. If you dont want to give up your demonic practice them stay in your sin and keep opening up your life to demons.
