Sure if the show ends does not mean the game is over. I mean look at magic the gathering it has been around for at least 20 years or longer. And if you realize it has never had a show and it is still around. So if it can make a lot of money without a show. Then so can yugioh so don't quit or sell because it will be around as long as magic has or even longer!!!!

Really Tho......umm come on..Konami is selling pieces of card board for hundreds of dollars...i honestly believe that even if they stop the show (along with thier sells from young children) the game will continue ..even if less competeive players that watch the show no longer buy cards...they are selling thousands of dollars of merchandise each DAY. i agree without a show the game really would go to shit but with that in mind rumors where that 5ds was going to be last one and as you can see that was not true i think its too early to know because zexal will probly be on for a few more years before it ends and even if they dont have plans for a new one yet there is a good chance that within that amount of time they will come up with some new crazy idea for a show

Yugioh the TCG was made it into the book of records this year for selling the most cards this year believe it or not. True the show influences a portion of people to play, but how big do you think that portion is? I mean its not like the show airs on Cartoon Network. The Card game does so well because of the major events. Not to mention the local shops everywhere. Why would konami want to kill something off that is doing better that their video game software? I feel like Ygo is so boring right now. It's too expensive to play AND if you can afford the cards, it's hard to play other decks with them competitively with Plants and Dinos out there. Plants can make too many different synchro for all their answers needed and Dinos can negate everything/anything. ;( Also, Yugituber has gotta really boring. ALL the big names were are putting crap videos with crap contents and it's sad ;(

yeah what about YUGIOH R? there are still some many arcs they can do as far as turning it into a t.v. show/season. they still have not done the first real season of yugioh season 0 i think its called before Duelist kingdom. all also can do a season in the middle of Yugioh and Gx how Little yugi handles copping without atem up to the point he meets jaden and gives him Winged Kuriboh i mean there is still so many thing to do.

Honestly DM (original) was best, GX was bad until the end (in which they didn't even dub), 5D's was good 65-, ZeXal is getting better too. It is a try-hard moment at the moment, however YGO is still one of the most popular games and still has sold the most cards in total. I've noticed a decline too, though the game still has plenty of years left.

GX was suppose to be the last. They basically indirectly forced Takahashi to make the futuristic 5D's concept.

5D's was suppose to be the last, but he had the idea of ZeXal (pronounce Zay'ul in the JP version, zex'sul in the EN version)

As long as the game still brings huge profits, there will always be new Yu-Gi-Oh! series.
