I don't think you can. It would be much easier to upload the footage to your computer first so you can compress it before uploading. If you try and record straight to youtube it'll probably end up skipping and sticking in parts. Do you have some editing software on your computer?

I think most computers have windows movie maker on PC or imovie on Macs - have a look and see if you have either of those programs. There should be some helpful tutorials on theose.
