I love all these scenes but I have to say it kind of bugs me that Lucas never actually apologized for the things he said to Peyton at the end of 5x17. And we really needed a scene in 6x01 where Lucas explains his dramatic change of heart/revelation. But I am thrilled that they ended up together so I can't complain too much. Just wish they would come back!

I think Brooke was a choice because the whole Leyton and Brucas thing from the others seasons... But in this season there's no reason why Brooke would be the choice

I was never a Leyton fan. Until season 5. I think I just realized that Lucas and Peyton were sort of always meant to be be. I still love Brooke though. Kick ass.

@zara246 I think it's because Lucas will always care about Brooke. Heck, he was in love with her once upon a time. But when he had that "pick one" scene in 601, you could see his face when brooke said "pick one". Clearly he knew she wasn't a strong option. She was barely an option to be frank and he knew it in that moment. She was a safety net by the end of S5 - he did run to her when he had his heart broken in S1...twice.

I totally agree. I thought season 6 was a huge mess. I think they really didn't do much of anything well. They ignored the whole naley dynamic. They couldn't find a new guy so they introduce a guy that Peyton lived with to be Brooke's new guy?? that was a mistake.
