Driving my '79 Super Beetle convertible around Plano

It's a convertible and they are all noisy at highway speed with the top and windows down.

It us fine when driving in the city.

Someone told me when the top is down there is a lot of wind noise is that true its the only thing stopping me from getting one

But from what I've heard, it was no worse than your windows or the sun roof rolled down on various other cars. :3

I recently bought back my 79 beetle that I had to sell in 1985. i am the 1st and 4th owner and I am back in beetle heaven. It still has the sanyo cassette player and pioneer speakers and only an additonal 4000 miles.

It's a stock engine with stock muffler. That's how it is. Plus, I had the music playing.
