  • That came out nice, man. I know I couldn't lift that monster now but I will get there.

  • Nice job!!! Cannot wait to make mine. Really getting into making my own strongman workout setup. Good vid. Thanks

  • What do you do with a concrete ball?

  • cool, but couldn't you leave the plastic ball in place, for a smoother finish?

plastic street light globes work too, $90 for a 24", reusable, very tough plastic.

  • @jamiemenuez You have to pop the ball to get concrete in, so 275 lbs of concrete isn't going to maintain a round stone with a piece of rubber

  • i have made 4 stones like this so far. i used casting plaster that only cost me $18 a bag which easily does a big stone or 2-3 smaller stones.i didnt need tape and some parts of the mold were really quite thin and i still had no blow outs. the plaster is set in about an hour and i pour the concrete as soon as it sets. i only wait 24 hours and then i chip the plaster off and i have had no problems yet. just letting you know in case anyone is in a real hurry for their stones!

  • Dude, it's beautiful! I've used the same exact technique for 11 stones! I've even made hollow ones using the same type of technique. Great job.

  • @mossberg451 I have bought a mold from Slaters and will use that for my next stones!

  • how much did the plaste of paris cost all together

  • thinking about making 1 after christmass not to heavy but seens as im only 12stone bodyweight gona try making 1 bout 175lb or so . can shoulder a 150lb sand bag at the min
