These guys are lights out. lived in LA from 2000- 2004 and everytime they played it was THE SHOW. They went through a few guitarists ( bart, Brian Young, Russ Parrish and Lance Turner, but Ralph ran the show. Glad to see him and russ doing well with Steel Panther. Breathtaking! Ralph is a FREAK.

That is because everyone's brain is a little different and trying to copy exactly someone else's playing is a very difficult task. Often times it ends up sounding wrong, even if it is just off a bit. That is why most cover bands do it with their own style...artistic license as it is called. These guys do a fine job.

daves a great entertainer my man theres no doubt about that and it was his stage presence that took van halen to the top but all I'm saying is I've seen dave sing live and his voice didnt sound half as good as it did on the album, its amazing what a studio can do to improve someone's vocals..........

The guy sings in the only Van Halen cover-band endorsed by VH themselves, he's got one fucking amazing voice (probably even better than dave's himself) and crowd is going absolutely nuts with him and the band. With that said, i think he can pretty act as stupid as he wants. Face it, he's getting away with it and having a fucking awesome time doing it.
