  • Yo man, Jesus loves you bro. Yano what im sayin man JESUS CHRIST REIGNS

  • I wish people would stop arguing about jesus...

I pray for Vienna, this city needs God's love desperatly.

Please God answer our prayers and give us strength to endure this dark times. Thank you so much for all the things you've done and will do.

Guys, we are so blessed to be able to believe!!! With him all things are possible :)

  • love this song.God be the glory

  • @WeLoveYouJesus85 I know Jesus, and He would not go around YouTube proclaiming He is back because He wouldn't need to; He would naturally draw a crowd because of His love. I know you wanna spread the Gospel, and that's a good motive, but this isn't the way. Jesus still loves you, man.

  • @skweerul

    Well said! :)

  • There presence of holy spirit moving in this song ., what an amazing worship song

  • @varaprasad3450 You mean it speaks to your heart and you feel it in your spirit.?

  • @ACakaANTMAN Yes It is am amazing song

  • GLORY TO GOD !!!!!!!

  • Bluetree are more powerful in his voice for God's Love than Chris Tomlin... I have nothing against him of course. I just feel Bluetree is more real in God's Love... He believes and he feels what he says...and we can feel his motivation and his heart too... But as Apostle Paul use to says..."that's better than nothing...". Glory to God for all people who praise His name... the strong and the weaked... the most important is the sincerity of our heart... God bless all of us...until the end...Thanks

  • @zoa1088 I went over the fall. It was truely amazing and most definately life changing. You will not leave that country the same as you entered it.

  • If there is any city that this song should be sung in Belfast is sure one of them. Greater things are yet to come and greater things are still be done in this city. Greater things are yet to be done here.

  • I hear that @oydelpoo! I love the transition at about 1:06.

  • i love this song it makes me happy.

  • Plese Lord, com to Thailand soon plese plese my king ...but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. 2cor.7:5

  • this has been my favorite song since the first time i heard it

  • Im not a big Christian at all, and I will admit it, I've been struggling for awhile to know if God really exist or not. But this song is so amazing, it makes me wish that he truely is the right way, I know their is a God but it sometimes feels like Christianity isnt the right religion, this song gives me hope that christianity is the right path, so thanks bluetree for a great song.

  • @naru725 Hey, I understand the doubt you are experiencing. It is difficult to find truth in the world we live in today. I have been reading Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis and it has been a very thought provoking journey. I would reccomend reading it for a fresh perspective from someone who was an atheist and later became a Christian.

  • @CK724001 yeah I just read the Screwtape letters, it was a decent book but it just shows you how careful you have to be with religion and stuff because demons will always find a way to tempt you. Crazy stuff though how you can't really see open religion anymore the people who believe in religion don't go out sharing it, it seems like their in hiding right now. But maybe right now its good, maybe there waiting for the right time to show themselves. whose to say though..

  • @naru725 I have only read parts of Screwtape Letters but it was really thought provoking. I do think that everyone deals with temptations though, religious or not. Everyone has their struggles and I think that Christians rely on God to give them strength to live out better lives instead of trying to fight on their own. I do agree with you about religious people being in somewhat of a hidden state, but I think that more people are ackowledging this and taking more initiative to make a difference.

  • @naru725 Wish I could help you with this, a familiar struggle. Jesus, the way, christianity in the background. There's evidence, God has provided, but there's much in the world arrayed against this (evidence too, perhaps). Book -The New Evidence that Demands a Verdict (McDowell). Feelings come and go, that's where some of the comments on Lewis' writings may be handy, arguments based on reason, more solid than feeling. "Mere Christianity" Lewis. The bible, prophecy - Psalms 22 to start.

  • Great song. Thank you for uploading and God bless you Neil McIntosh. God bless Belfast and Lord I pray for the true peace across the city, Your peace and for a healing of Your Church, your body Lord as Catholics and Protestants stand together in the city, hand in hand as brothers and sisters and as your children Lord. May we set an example to the world of Christian unity and be at peace within you Lord, I pray for Your Grace to bestowed upon this great city and land and upon Your children Amen

  • I'm not really a big Christian but this song makes me go cold and I play it every time I feel low and it gives me hope. Ok so it's written for Belfast but can equally apply to any place in the world...

Excellent song...... A true modern day hymn

  • This is beautiful. I listen to this song and get the chills that there is so much more to life then life from 9-5. I read some of other peoples messages and it's so amazing encouraging people are. I pay that I am more obsessed with God as I am about life. This divinely inspired so is life changing.

  • wooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! Summer Madnesss 2010

  • On any of the christian radio stations they never played this version which is my favorite and then today as we were driving home from the fireworks show, it played just a few minutes before we arrived at home. Just enough so that it ended just as we got home. Everyone in the car fell silent, And my heart sang out to Him. I believe it was God's way of showing that he heard me and appreciated it when i cried out to him that night at camp when the band played this song. Truly Amazing. Praise Him!

  • At church camp this is the song that i was praying they would play but i just couldnt remember the name... Then on the last night of camp as i was up at the alter with my friends praising him, the song began to play and a barrier in my heart broke open and let all my love and praise flow with no holding back. That was the first time i had worshiped with all of my heart. It has became my favorite song ever. I came home and i havent been able to stop singing it (read next comment)

  • Yes God, there is no one like you. greater things have yet to come and greater things still to be done in our cities. Lets pray for our cities in Jesus Name....

  • I heard this at the beginning of this year at a church camp. My praise band told us the story. They were in a Resturaunt or bar or something like that, and there were young girls being trafficked. It made them inspired to write this song. God Bless and keep helping those that need it. Love all you Christians out there!

  • I've heard about the background of this song. I do really believe that God will do something new in Thailand this year. Amen!!

  • Awesome n powerful song! Every city, every nation, every country, every part of this earth needs God n needs revival. There r parts of this earth that r oppressed n impoverished. We, as Christians, have the ability and the chance to do greater things than have been done before. The question is...will we? We need to reach beyond ourselves n show love n compassion to people all around this world. Greater things r waiting 2 b done here. I hope someone will feel convicted n inspired by this comment.

  • He is God of all cities, all nations, my Life, I am in Okinawa city near Naha, Japan, in Okinawa.

  • This song deserves widespread circulation...no offense to Chris Tomiln but, his version doesnt even come close, IMO.

This song is an anthem of revival!

  • He is the God of the every Country, Nation , and World!!!!

  • John14:12- I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what i have been doing. He will go even GREATER THINGS than these, because i am going to the Father. ~KeEpOnRaWkInG~

  • every city needs God... every nations too....

  • Do you guys understand the meaning of greater things?? Jesus is comming back and we need to get our friends ready for that, or they will be lost Forever~thats eternity guys!!!

  • BornAgainified,

Will you help us understand what you mean by "getting our friends ready"?

Please define "grace" for us. Also, define "grace of God". What does the scripture really say about the grace & mercy of God? (esp. from Romans and Ephesians)

    Happy Thanksgiving!!

    ob1rev

  • great song; a powerful prayer

  • The original version is awesome, there's so much power and drive

  • i can't believe how popular this video is. I didn't realise bluetree were that big

  • its getting hits in america because of the cover performance by Chris Tomlin on his Hello Love album....

Bluetree has a great message, if you are from Ireland or England, I would love to knoiw who your favorite Christian artists are and maybe sample a bit of their works....

  • Sure thing. The most popular ones from our church would be Bluetree (obviously), Robin Mark, Brian Houston and Duke Special (not worship but still christian).

  • There is so much about God that we can't fathem or wrap our minds around. There are things all round us that point to God's amazing love! the bible says that creation screams out His name!

  • What is the light & darkness in day 1?

Does the Sun in day 4 have anything to do with the light in day 1?

    ******** YES & NO **********

Lean not on human understanding. This is meat that ego/humanity knows not of as Jesus puts it.++++++++++++

Wow! the games HIS children play.

  • Thank you, Lord, for being the strength in my weakness - over and over again.

  • Oh my gosh guys. Can't anyone just enjoy the music without debating creationism versus evolution? Evolution has been proved anyway (fossils?), so there's really no debate to be had.

  • @not1sosecret3agent- if evolution happened, why did we stop evolving? and why aren't monkeys still evolving??

  • We haven't stopped evolving. Everything is constantly evolving. We just can't see a change in any species until at least 30 generations.

  • Micro-evolving yes. Macro-evolving no.

  • So a generation is typically 20 years. By your statement, we should have visible evidence of changes in species from 600 years ago until now. Please do tell how any species have evolved visibly since 1409 - and I'm talking macro-evolution here - physical/chemical/DNA type changes. Not micro-evolutionary changes.

  • Well I can't tell you that, because there are only going to be micro-evolutionary changes. But that's just for humans. And maybe I shouldn't be calling it evolution. Technically it's natural selection that leads to evolution. Natural selection is obviously true, so if we're thinking logically evolution must also be true.

  • Logic is limited by our human understanding. However, my mind can wrap around the idea of God creating the earth in 7 days much better than it can wrap around some crazy concept that those 7 days were millions of years, or "heavenly years." Logic does not support the evolutionary theory for the beginning of the world, especially the idea that life was formed out of unliving things, especially when God counters that quite clearly with his creation of plants and animals.

  • and absolute u just proved that we cannot comprehend God. your mind CANNOT comprehend nor was it built to comprehend. sorry. i dc who you are but God cannot be comprehended

  • Again, never said He could be completely comprehended. But we do know as much as the Bible tells us. There is a difference.

  • The evolutionary theory is a completely separate issue from theories of how the universe was created. The creation of the world is an entirely different debate than this one. Right now we're debating whether it's true that species evolve according to their surroundings.

  • The right word is adapt, not evolve, if this is the argument. However, the argument started out with macro-evolutionary theory - so I disagree with you pertaining to the subject matter of this debate. I will not argue against micro-evolution or habitat adaptation. But there is no place/logic/support for meshing Creation with Macro-evolution. And that is the point I am trying to make.

  • So what you're saying is that all the fossils that archaeologists have found were what, staged?

  • Hey all:

If God divided the light from the darkness on day 1; and if God created the Sun - Moon - Stars on Day 4...

THEN how come the waters from day 2 be? - OR - the plants & fruit from day 3 survive without the Sun and water (frozen)?*****

NOTE: there are 2 (two) accounts of creation in Genesis. first is enfolded word; second is unfolding word.

****Someone please explain by Spirit, not by human understanding***

  • with ob1rev but a minister at my church says that for the first 4 days the world was lit by the glory of God

  • carthorse,

    interesting?

The glory of God is a self-existent reality.

What would the necessity be for God to Say "let there be light" if it is something that already existed? (if you? are saying that the glory of God lit the world).

Jesus says that man is the glory of God; New Testament says "we" are the light of the world and salt of the earth.

    hmmmm...

  • yes i'm familiar with that verse we are the light of the world a city on a hill cannot be hidden. however could i just ask what "the light from heaven" was in Saul's conversion, was it just a bright light or was it the glory of God which is so overpowering that the high priest had to have rope around his ankle when he entered the holy of holies once a year. is this what blinded Saul? Is this what lit the Earth for 4 days and sustained all life on Earth for that time?

  • hey carthorse,

I am not in disagreement here. The GLORY of God IS a self-existent reality.

Again, I believe that the Glory of God is all there is. God is ALL in ALL.

What is the "type" or "shadow" (as Paul likes to call it when we read the law & prophets) of the high priest and the blinded Saul.

OH. I also believe that it is the same glory you speak of that lit the earth then that is LIGHTING the earth now. God is same...ALWAYS.

    Thanks for your posts.

    ob1rev

  • Well, God is God, there's nothing impossible for him, is it? Just think about us, we could survive with out sum light, moon, and even with out water, for he created us.. We are his image... We don't need anything just him because he's the Lord..

  • best friend,

Will you elaborate? What do you mean: we are his image? What is in us that is the nature of God that does not require sun light or water?

The belief that we are separate from God keeps many from the awareness of what your are saying. Since we are in His image, we are ONE with Him (not separate). Therefore the body is not life, but the spirit within. Spirit is alive regardless of physical universe. hmmm?

    thanks for posting,

    ob1rev

  • You just entered the debate. Evolution is a crock and has not been proven by any fossils.

  • Here's my look on it. God created the world in 7 days. 7 HEAVENLY days NOT Earthly days. whos to say how long those days were? 7 billion years? or 7 seconds? science and religion can find a base line, and as Christians we can't condemn others for their beliefs, because that always leads to people turning their back on God.i dont know the exact chapter but God says do not condemn others and the way they worship or believe.and Jesus says do not judge unless ye want to be judged on the same accord

  • @o0oslayero0o Actually, there are a lot more qualifiers to it than that. We are not to judge by appearances, but we are to judge correctly. How, when we can't know each others hearts? Ask God. Pray.

Also, we ARE to judge those within the church (according to Paul, 1 corinth), as we all (by the Holy Spirit) know the standard, and are enabled to get there, but we do not judge those outside of it, because they LITERALLY "know not what they do".

  • but we do not judge correctly bro. that's the thing. sooooo many Christians judge others and place labels and shun and condemn others for things they believe and its not right. Jesus wanted us to spread love through action. and we arent doing it...thats what im trying to say

  • Amen shadow2501! We make judgements constantly - who should I witness to in the street? Do I respect a person in the church for their holy standard of living or do I look at them as someone who needs prayer because they are entrenched in sin? These are Biblical judgments! The stipulation is simply that if we make judgments we should be ready to accept those same judgments on ourselves. The standard, in all things, should be to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit!

  • Why the need to mesh atheistic science with Genesis? Why is it so hard to believe God created the world in 7 days? Why does there need to be some allegorical 7 heavenly days? How do plants survive half of a heavenly day's worth of darkness when they need the sun to survive? Did God spin the earth really slow and then speed it up after the 7 days of creation? I'd say taking the 7 days as anything but 24 hours shows a serious lack of faith to say the least.

  • the old testament is poetry and parables that God gave us to help us through life. how could someone so powerful and amazing explain to these scared people who could barely make food how he created life and the Earth? or who he was? he told through parables. we STILL can't comprehend and we will NEVER comprehend our heavenly father, he is who he is. and i have more faith in my Father and Jesus than you will EVER KNOW

  • the OT is poetry? who told you that? any atheist who actually read the Bible would not make that sweeping statement about the OT. we can comprehend God to the extent that the Bible allows. I never said we could completely comprehend Him. Stop putting words in my mouth. Paul is very clear in the NT that the law of the OT is the history of the Jews and is there for us to learn and understand why we need Jesus. It loses that power if it is all allegory. Stop taking the power from God!!!

  • apparently if you read it in hebrew its really poetic and a lot of that was lost in the translation... i believe it is literal truth though.

  • Jer 29:7

seek the welfare of the city and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.

  • man, every single youtube video involving God leads to a comment debate on the existence of God. can't we take this elsewhere? there's not enough characters in the comments to make any progress in a debate about it!

  • Evolution is theory and nothing more. Non- evolutionary science should line with due to 1) God created everything in exist 2) God been activity in our world, so something event will line up with science. But as Christians, we shouldn't reply on science, since our faith isn't blind and the bible will crush the reprobates heart (Hebrews 4:12) and revealed truth can't be fought against and stopped (2 Corinthians 13:8). The reprobate can only conform to revelation.

  • Where did they get the original composition. Did one of the band members compose?

  • They were in a town, where they saw people buying children for sex abuse. And I If I recall well, it was all the members of the group that composed that in the middle of the road. because they thought that God was still the god of this city even though people were going crazy.

  • What is it?

  • yeah, the song was written by this group.

Famous Christian artists like Chris Tomlin just performed covers of this song.

  • The Band Composed the song they where in thailand, they where allowed to play a two hour set in a brothel and Aaron Boydd of bluetree said the song just came to him David

  • I have to say I like this version better than Tomlin's. I love when Klove plays this when I drive to school in the morning. I also like blessed be you name.

  • Answers in Genesis Ministry is the best defender of 6 day creation. Ken Ham is the best. The also back up their beliefs using evidence from the global flood, and dinosaur fossils. Why can't anyone just believe what God said he did. If he said he created the world in 6 days, then I take His word for it!

  • Amen to that!!!

  • this my absolute fav song by a long shot!!!

  • It doesn't say no sunlight was visible at all until the 4th day, just that day/night/seasons became as we know it (rotation of the Earth, etc. settled) on the 4th. Not *each and every* form of plant life that Earth ever had necessarily came into being by the end of the 3rd either (eg. Grapefruit). These are "God" days and Moses didn't experience these events in person so a day is however God would have inspired it to him [Moses]. All IMO but it makes sense with all I've heard and learnt.

  • My point was that God divided day from night on the first day. That means part of the day is light and part is dark. Everybody knows plants need the sun to live. So God creates plants on the third day. They're all dead by the fourth day. Why is it so hard to believe that God could create in 6 normal days? Who is the book's audience? God? His exemption from time is not relevant as He gave Moses the words for US to read. Creationist scientists confirm and age the earth at 6,000 to 15,000 years.

  • I totally agree with you. Have you visited the creation museum?

  • I have not - where is it?

  • All I'm saying is that God put certain principles in place (radiocarbon dating) that pretty much point to the time/age of our planet/universe, as we experience it, to be been a lot longer than a few thousand years. You can try to argue the science of it, but, frankly, it's on shaky ground. Could God have changed the rules? Sure. However, it would make more sense to my Human brain if God was simply above the rules and was not constrained by time. Only He really knows.

  • Radiocarbon dating is a crock. Countless stories of bones found "millions of years old" later to be a cow from 1957.

  • Come on, you can't honestly believe that...

  • Not sure what you're referring to that I can't honestly believe, but whatever it is, yeah, I honestly believe it.

  • I'm referring to your comment on Radiocarbon Dating. It's simply a scientific measuring technique that works the majority of the time...akin roughly to chaos theory and weather forecasting. Sure, it might be off sometimes, but the majority of the time it's proven to be useful and decently accurate.

  • Proven? How do you prove 70 Billion vs 40 Billion vs 15,000? The scientist is extrapolating based on theories limited to a small window of truly proveable ageing. It is purely theory and should never be taught as fact and certainly never regarded as "proven." So again, to put it simple, radiocarbon dating is a crock. And again, if you believe God created, therefore Adam/Eve were the first humans, not evolved from another species, what is the need for a multi-million/billion-year explanation?

  • Why millions of years to explain God's Creation? Do you mix macro-evolution with Creation? How does this make more sense to your human brain? Also, how long ago do you believe Adam/Eve lived? Death did not exist until sin entered the world when Adam/Eve ate the fruit of the forbidden tree. So dinosaur bones must be from a time period after Adam and Eve's first sin. Or do you find Adam and Eve's sin allegorical as well? At what point do you believe Genesis moves from allegorical to literal?

  • IMO (and God only knows), the standard passage of time, as we know it, starts around/after the fall, Genesis 4. All events prior in Genesis might, and IMO was, not happening in a standard, linear progression as we would understand it. Yes God could have snapped his fingers and created a bunch of thing spontaneously, but a boatload of evidence exists to show that perhaps that's not *how* He choose to do it. That evidence doesn't hurt or threaten my faith one bit.

  • And what is this boatload of evidence? Because I'm pretty sure everyone on that boat is drowning as it sinks. So you believe that days 1-4 are an allegory and after that begins the linear progression? Also, I'm not up on all the little acronyms so I have no idea what "IMO" is. The question is not whether it hurts or threatens your faith. The question is how it hurts and threatens the truth in God's Word, the fact that sin entered the world and is man's fault, and that we need Jesus.

  • Evidence such as Sci. hinting to the Earth being older than 4000 years. The fall of man happened after the 7 days of creation-I don't believe there's any doubt about that. IMO=In My Opinion. How does it hurt God's truth? Everything I've said jives with what's written in the Word, there's no contradiction. I do believe that the only way to the Father is through Christ the Savior-never said I didn't. Our beliefs differ in that I believe God could have created *however* He wanted.

  • What evidence. Still no evidence. The fall of man happened after, but the creation of man happened DURING the 7 days of creation, same with plants/animals/etc. Of course God could have created however He wanted. But to say science points to something other than a 24-hour day during the 6 (plus 1 rest day) days of Creation is bogus.

  • Why are you looking for evidence? You should try the Bible or start to pray. Only speak and He will hear.
