Why do us as American people have to pay property taxes when the government does not give any free subsidies as power and water. And they do no upkeep to my land.

We should use as much American resources as possible and encourage our energy companies with incentives. Cleaner energy technologies are more welcome but we have to have a period of change and not ruin our economy for the sake of expediency.
