and its not working i waited one time 6 or 7 minutes and nothing !!

@zelly2k9 Lol no not at all, if you type in 'farcry trackbase' into google or something, you'll get up-to-date info on what servers are running, and you'll also find out where you're ranked amongst other players ;)

Just click the links to the left too, you can also see a global top list of good players ;)

@zelly2k9 yes, you need a ubisoft account and a cd-key. if youre in north america i wouldn't bother. might see a couple servers with people on if you're lucky. i'm not even exaggerating. if you're in europe you might see a few more servers with players in

far cry one was one of the games that made history. the sequel just doesn't fit. Urban fights are so lame, this is why farcry 1 did so good, and it's still being played by alot of people. Crysis would be the proper sequel, right? It's way more close to what farcry used to be.

It gets worse man. I started playing online again and all people do is circle each other, bunny-hopping whilst spamming bullets and/or playign as the engineer class and dumping loads of explosives round the capture point which go off after they die, killing everyone nearby. I got sick of this and play a sniper. Sad thing is you usually only get 1-2 sniper per team. It's a great game when you don't get all the spamming and grenade hacks, but that is very rare.

Sniping on the original Far Cry was awesome...at least it used to be. I haven't played any time recently.

There were several spots to hide on the map being shown. I would always swim out to the far islands and snipe people coming into the flag or trying to defend it.

When your team goes over to the damn, if you're attacking, have your sniper go to the very far out island. There' this little crook you can lay down in and snipe long distance. You're almost never seen

same here. One spot was on top of a rock column that overlooked a flag and I could pick off so many people it was unreal. Never, ever got seen either. Might have to try the far off island idea though. Seems very interesting.
