That happened to me one time except I didn't loose it in gym idk y u took it out but ok ....... Anyways the bottom sort of closed and all I did was mouth washed a little to numb it and I put in the piercing as far as it would go from the top and then I got a needle and sort of like poked at the bottom a little just to get it sort of open and like it just went back through

You really should reconsider doing it again. I've had mine pierced for about 3 years now and I know if for whatever reason mine closed up or I had to take it out..I would redo it again after a while. Yeah, the healing process hurt and was so annoying but it was worth it. I am so attached to my tongue piercing.
