please try to express mor of the Voice and not so much with your Body It's German Lied an thaht ist better when you speek the words very exactly ......you have the talent to do this ....I wish you all the Best...
I know, I know—I was referring to the earlier comments from Green Harmonium and Efrain Gonzalez.
And I agree with your observations on balance, for the most part, though I'd fault the piano mainly. Perhaps just not a good acoustic for recording this type of song with this type of mechanism.
I think his voice has a bit too much vibrato for Baroque, if we're going to talk about its potential for that repertoire. But its lightness fits the vibrato perfectly somehow—he reminds me of a Venetian gondolier.
The accompanist is certainly a great player; however, I get the feeling that the accompanist is leading the piece and not the singer. He also plays to loudly for this guys voice.....or perhaps it is the recording. Oh well, a nice rendition nonetheless.
I think he mean, he could have a big carrer with baroque music because his voice is wonderful for it, of course he can sing Schubert, may be with the age will sound even better, he is very young, Lied could be also his way, who knows, but heavy opera, like puccini or verdy not...

why baroque? schubert's romantic
but I don't like the balance between piano and voice. voice sounds too week, and too much echo from piano.

I think your voice is perfect for the Baroque repertoire! Your style has that natural 'feeling' about it :)

Are you saying he shouldn't sing this type of music?
