Hey man i have an acapella from adele set fire to the rain shes singing really slow and my remix is around 130 bpm how can i speed it up ???? i did everything in the video and her ass sounds the same
im just raging so hard, because no matter how many times i tap the bpm to the beat it just keeps falling out CONSTANTLY in random spots.like it will work then fuck itself all of a sudden.yet NOTHING CHANGED.
if it helps: try going to your audio options and giving your computer less time to calculate things. or try setting your FL studio to using ASIO drivers, if your soundcard supports this.
the reason you cant get a good reading is because the time between you clicking and your PC actually registering it is aprox. 90 milliseconds. should be less then 40 if you want a useable result.
@20BagBoy its necessary to know the BPM one way or another. either by knowing the original tunes BPM (via a program) or via tapping on a metronome. without a BPM reading your acapella's will be very hard to fix. you'd have to slowly drag it until it sounds good throughout. very time consuming
@DJLuxx - am just sayin bro u just typed 126 in.. if i dont no that then its tricky, dont get me wrong, its helpful, just could have a more accurate title for the vid..
its good that u take the time 2 share ur knowledge with us all tho, its how we all learn..
btw i tried tapping and i am terrible at it, it did NOT work at all for me, eek
@20BagBoy tapping is only possible if your soundcard gives you very little latency. if its any more then 40ms then you wont be able to tap the BPM correctly. but if I had tried to figure out the BPM during this video I wouldnt have made it to the 10 minute limit ;-) but I will try and see if I can make another video explaining things more accurately. just started a new video-series so thnx for watching and commenting!
@DJLuxx - dude i know its brutal, but even if you break it down into like 3parts i think people would sit and watch if they thought they would be leaving with an effective technique to accurately calculate a tracks bpm..
@visi0n14 Couple of things you could do: *1* play the original mp3 in your favorite mediaplayer and by making clicking sounds with your tongue try to match the tempo, so be your own metronome. Match that with the metronome in fruity. *2* open fruity and select a pattern without samples, put on the metronome and play. Now play the original mp3 and try to match the metronome with the sample. *3* There's probably a winamp plugin that detects it for you.
Woot vet chill! ik was tvallig ook bezig met deze remixcontest ,heb al je tutorials er nog eens op nageslagen maar het lukte me bij deze gewoon niet om m recht te trekken, dus heb ik t maar in ableton gedaan. Anyway... now i stick to fruity!
evrytime i adjust it so the pitch is normal but it goes with the tempo the vocals speed up

if you knew the tempo then this whole video would be rendered redundant dont you think?

@20BagBoy If you have a problem tapping the beat, try downloading mixmeister BPM. It analyzes tracks.
