  • the matter is, that hellmuth dont remember what he talks as commentator while he is playing himself .....

  • KARMA

  • helmuth is one hell of a commentator.

  • this is more money than cash game so wtf u mean ihitmydraw??

  • tony G wouldnt risk 200k dollars in a cash game in that situation thats all i say.

this format is also lil different from normal tourney, several runs...

And the amount of money the players put up is small to what they usally play, so i think he just decided to gamble...

  • @ihitmydraw in general i agree with that concept, but i think tony g might be a bad example because i have seen him ship a few hundred thoousend with really bad hands in cash games ^^

  • Wow, its a lot easier to play against durr in a tournament when you dont have to care than in cash games where real money is on the line...

  • Its not really, do you think there is a one percent chance Tony G would play the 10-9 in a big cash game for his hole stack?

  • against durrrr people do alot of things they wouldnt do against other people. just because durrrr has a really wide range and likes to dominate the table cuz he feels hes the best player at every table.

  • tournament poker and cash game poker are 2 different monsters all together

  • @sosickwithit666 no it's not. in a cash game, you win some and you lose some, but during the whole game, your money continuously ebbs and flows, making you more vulnerable to mood swings. in a tourney format such as this, you buy-in for a set amount of money and you don't get money back until you're done, so what's lost is lost. let's play.

  • People are generally much looser in cash games actually, because if you bust you're not gone permanently. In a tourney you have one stack and if its gone you've lost, so that stack is much more valuable from a poker standpoint.
