Thumb this up... There is a better strategy.... If you use a max repel at route 2 and use a pokemon above level 5 but below 50 and you keep running in and out of the route.... its easier to catch because its the only pokemon you can find

I just bought like a hundred max repels and ran around in grass. they're not affected by repel. and you might want to have a wobbufet or diglet w/ arena trap, because then they can't fee. I used a snorlax, 10 max repels, and a great ball to catch Suicune haha.

Just catched my Raikou this way (:

I was driven crazy by Mewtwo wouldn't get into my ultra balls, so i used my master ball on him. But i catched the dog by just one ultra ball.

Catch a wobuffet in the Mewtwo cave blah blah, and have it in your front. Wobuffet has this ability 'Shadow Tag' meaning that you can't escape a Wobuffet in any way, so the dogs can't flee. So you can get the dog low using mirror coat, and catch it easy. It took me >1< ultra ball.

I got really pissed at Suicune. Every single time i try this, and he pops up, he runs away. I already used all my master balls on the three legendary bird pokemon, so every time i use an ultra ball, it doesn't work and he runs away. It takes like 1-2 hours of doing what you did for him to show up, and so im wasting alot of time and patience. Is there any way i can keep him from running away, like using sleep powder or something?

@dragon77888 u can put it to sleep but the best way is to get a pokemon with mean look such as gobats some of them have the abillity mean look. also diglets and dugtrios have a abillty to not let the pokemon run away. i for got wat it is called though

@Demon5I7 i played crystal like 5 years ago but i remember. yu go to the burned tower and you find the dog but they all run away. beat the 7th gym and team rocket you get the something bell so you can go to the tin tower and entei and raikou run but u fight suicune. now, you have to find raikou and entei by luck. if you find them, theyll be on the pokedex and u can see where they are. if they are in the sme plce as u, use the repel and search for them. hope i helped :)

Actually what you want to do is level up a Pokemon that has the special ability Arena Trap to around lvl 45-49. Then you go searching in the area he showed to find one after putting on a max repel. After that run around in the grass for about 5 seconds if the Legendary doesn't show up go back into the building. Do this several times till it appears.

The Pokemon that I know of that have arena trap are Diglett and Trapinch.

I got Suicune now :-D it was just hard finding him for the first time. Then I went near Digletts cave and kept checking out his location in my Pokedex when he wasn't near I just went into the cave and back out to change his location. But something that was well weird I used Jynx, Lovely Kiss put Suicune to sleep and his status was sleep but while asleep he managed to flee battle :-S never had that happen before. After a short time beat him down with false swipe then it was easier :-)
