Maybe i owe you an apology, many ppl think this song is Turkish cause it's recorded there. These rhytms are characteristic for several Balcan countries, and i live in one of them. Try to youtube for guys like Vlatko Stefanovski ... you'll see what i'm talking about. Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, even some parts of Romania and Bosnia have those rhytms. Also try smth like Dream Theater - Home. (I HIGHLY recommend it). You may like it :)

get a map m8... Bulgaria is NOT in the middle east but in Europe... these "sounds" are not middle eastern characteristic, but south/east european. rhytms like 7/8 11/8, 13/11 ... even 5/4

@milllosh sory maybe you are right, maybe it's quite south/east european. I've always thougt that is quite arabic. Finally You know better :P
