@soulbow this isn't a tube of light either, actually it's a small ray of light, constantly changing direction in a circle motion, too fast for the human eye to see it moving, so it appears to be a tube.

I found a cool thing by an accident - if you put a computer fan between the laser and the mirror that the beam will be covered by the fan blades, by changing the fan speed you can make an awesome effect like in a professional lasers. Cheers!

Nice work.... try an a more shallow angle on your reflector and you could get a small audience to see the same affect. Search for "Laser Vortex" and you will find some other good examples.
